It's a beaten dead horse for decades now and I'm glad we've moved past it, in modern pop music at least. It doesn't require the sensitivity or the intelligence to be considered to be good to me, at least not anymore

@@Candyman9721 Firstly, one of them in the list isn't even a woman. Secondly, none of the women in the list, save for Nancy Wilson, are pioneers. Lita was one of, if not the first, female guitarists to break in to the metal scene after her stint with the Runaways, also pioneers, opening doors for everyone on that list, again save for Nancy Wilson. She was nominated for a Grammy early on in her career. She may not have been a shredder, but neither was Nancy Wilson.

One of the best composers I have ever been blessed to listen to. There are only 2 guitarists in the world I have ever really felt created there own fluid language from there playing as if the instrument and musician had become a orchestra in and of itself. Sarah and you Mr. Terrberry. Heard you both on a shred collab video. Had the phone screen off. Went back and picked you both out to follow by sound alone. It changed my life. Dude, I appreciate you including Nancy Wilson but I really wish you would also have included Lita Ford. She definitely deserved a mention. Nice list though. Rock on! 🤘

Fun fact: my ma's ex boyfriend met Orianthi on the streets of Chicago (they also didn't just say "i" they actually chatted for quite a while) and he knew it was her bc he was a big fan. I was excited to see Orianthi on this list! (also i'm a HUGE MJ fan so....) but anyways funny my family has a lot of connections to musicians like my dad's best friend's dad knew Bob Dylan as a kid and teen when he was growing up in Hibbing, Minnesota. (he lived right by their house.) (my dad grew up in the old mining town Hibbing in Minnesota where many famous musicians somehow came from there. ex : Gary Pucket,, Connie Evenson, Robert Zimmerman, (and of course good ol' Bobby) Funny my dad and 3 of his friends were all in a band called Seargent Rock and he was also a guitarist! Anyways whoever's reading this have a great day! (also i showed my Dad your youtube channel and he really likes it! (he was born in 1964 so he grew up in a big musical era)
