Issac Green, I must say thank you. I'm a combat veteran who had 30+ concussions while serving. I was fine, with a few migraines, until about 10 years ago. Then, I got what's known as an intractable migraine. That means it never ends. It varies in pain, but doesn't stop. Add PTSD, and more. Importantly, I would never change anything about my service, aside from not losing my brothers. So, I'm stuck in the migraine room that my lovely wife put together for me. One thing that gives me pleasure are these great NFL films that you've gifted me. I'm also Cherokee and I owe my career as a sniper to my Cherokee grandfather teaching me to shoot beginning when I was 8 years old. He taught everything I needed to stay alive while serving too. Tracking, hunting, and living off any land, anywhere in the world. He started me long distance shooting when I was 10 with a Mauser 98 30-06. I owe him so much. He was a huge Steelers fan and lived to see their Super Bowl wins. I was so thankful he got to witness that before he crossed over. He also taught me the Cherokee language. The word wa-do, means thank you, or thanks. It's pronounced wah-doe. Easy peasy, right? So, Issac, wa-do!

The following is a quote from Brent Musburger during the broadcast of the Redskins-Eagles Wildcard Playoff Game just 8 weeks later after the Body Bag Game: "Well, it was body bags for the Redskins the last time and who knows, maybe it'll be a pine box for Buddy after this one."

During The Ice Bowl, unless I'm mistaken, that was Jerry Kramer throwing the block that got Bart Starr into the end zone. My Cherokee grandfather was a huge Steelers fan and The Immaculate Reception was his favorite play of all time. He loved it! I was visiting as a kid and I had never seen my grandfather that excited about anything on TV before. I was thrilled for him.

What about the Thanksgiving Day massacre it was a Thanksgiving game in Detroit against the Green Bay Packers and the mid 1960s I can't remember the year exactly. But they have said that Bart Starr was sacked a total of 11 times in that one game and that was probably one of the worst losses of Vince Lombardi's career his only loss of that year too. I know it's the Lions but still give it some credit because it did happen against Vince Lombardi

    1. Defense can be played./ defenders could hit. 2. You could actually tackle the QB. 3. No diva players. 4. Standing for the national anthem. 5. Super Bowl was about the game itself. 6.better commentators (no Joe Buck) 7. Coaches could coach and were in charge, not the players. 8. Wasn't all about the QB 9. More than 4 team divisions 10. Too many indoor stadiums. Ps. I suppose some of those could could go together.

One thing they forgot to mention about the immaculate reception: even if Franco caught it, it’s not clear that it was a legal catch. At the time, a ball that was tipped from one offensive player to another was not a legal catch. Should have explored that.
