The Nationals deserve SO MUCH credit for their World Series run and how many times it seemed like they were down and out, but then rose out of the grave, they deserved that victory, and I would've loved that same kind of World Series run for my Yankees!

I was watching the live pitch by pitch and it’s obvious a slider was coming. It’s Chapman’s main secondary pitch and he’s just missed two fastballs. Altuve is smart enough to pick that up. Also a hanging slider is just begging to be smashed.

As a Brewers fan that wild card game is heart breaking. BUT I will say I'm happy for the Nationals, and glad that after they beat us like that they went all the way to a world series win.

I love Juan Soto. There is something about him that just makes him such a badass. He isn’t scared of any pitcher and even sometimes taunts them. And it makes it all the better that he is such a great player. I’m not even a nats fan but he is great for the sport.

The 2019 WS went from Astros 4-0....to Game 7, this is one of the best WS to date.

@@grimminatorXYZ look, I'm not going to tell you that I know without a doubt that they didn't cheat in 2019. But the first reason I can think is that rumors of the Astros cheating had started circulating during the 2017 season and in 2018 people were still talking about it. If they were worried that people were on to them then that is a good reason to stop. My second reason (which is not proof but is very good reasoning) is the fact that the road team won EVERY GAME in the world series this year. In the history of all major American sports, that has never happened even once in a 7 game series. Not one single time. And I'm talking about the entire history of baseball, the entire history of basketball, and the entire history of hockey (football obviously not included because they don't have 7 game series). Now, with that information, I would like to say that it has already been 100 percent proven that the Astros only could have cheated at home games, because obviously they would not have their setup at an away park. With all this being said, the odds that the road team would win every single game in the world series WITH the advantage of cheating at home is so incredibly astronomically low that I cannot stress this enough, it is almost 0. Again, I cannot PROVE that they did not cheat there, but I can give you my reasoning for believing why they didn't.

I’m a Nats fan, but like, Skaggs no hitter should have been number 1. Yes I love how many of these games are of my team, but as much as our season was a miracle, that no hitter was something more

That Cubs-Cardinals game was insane. Home run after a strike 3 balk call, bottom of the 9th back-to-back home runs on a single pitches, Baez coming off the bench for a last gasp, and three straight strikes to end the game. Couldn't believe it as I was watching it; it was like some middle-school kid's baseball dream.

Chapman often throws a lazy slider when he missed two of his fastballs in a row, go and watch the pitch by pitch if you like, Altuve could well have predicted that on his own. Also if you still think the Astros were cheating in 2019 please show me evidence. (And no I'm not a Houston fan, Twins before you ask)

The nationals had so many damn nail biters this season and in the playoffs. So stressful. The fact that 5 of the top ten games were nationals games show you how stressful this season was. Hudson throwing his glove was how all us Nats fans felt. Partially because they won but mostly because it was finally over and we knew they couldn’t screw it up and the drama was finished lol.
