Anything higher than StB Savages and you're gonna need a bit more than just your friends. Those raids are still hard at 90 and you'll be spending a few days - at least - learning the mechs that you still have to clear. P8S is not easy and even experienced and knowledgeable raiders fuck up snakes all the time. You might be able to skip snake/dog 2 if you dps well enough but snake 1 is still a near-guaranteed wipe if you meme it.

As a White Mage, nothing is gonna top that Unicorn AND the music.

My first ever mount was a Dhalmel, and I still have a fondness for it. Was told it is not well regarded - but that giraffe-like look! The blend of its colours! And best of all, its slow, gentle, undulating gait - it's a lovely one to travel on! And I'm kind of serious here, I really do like riding it now and then 🙂

I more recently got the Regalia Mount. I've been teaching the new FC members how to get it, and they're happy. (Basically, all the older FC members know how to get it/already have it).

I just started the game yesterday with some friends using a lancer. I'm a veteran monster hunter player (since ps2) and i didn´t know rathalos was on FF xiv omg and you even have to cut off the tail ! SO I already have a objective in this game. To become a dragoon and hunt this mount :) pd: hearing the rathalos theme gave me chills. nice

The sabotender mount is literally what convinced Okaymage to try the game. She saw a bunch of them during a RWF stream.😂

When I buy FFXIV, some mounts I have my eye on are the Rolling Tankard from the Dwarves (it has a laser!) and the dragon Ehll Tou (she has a little hammer 🥺). There are some pretty cool mounts for clearing endgame content, but idk, I think these ones are actually my favorites.

My favourite has to be Papa Paissa, but outside mog store it's the Troll mount.

My favorites would have to be Adamantoise as it flies like Gamera, Flying Chair as you fly looking nonchalant, and Mikoshi because Namazu just make everything better.

compared to sunforged they put no effort in the axolotl tbh, i think it's overhyped which is a shame cause i was rooting for it. dont mind a deviation from some Fell GodBeast but animation stuff and all its kinda just boring he still cute.... but i wish he had a little waddle on the ground

I have many of the mounts here but morbol is one I've always wanted, I even speedrun maxed blu in like a few days but having to find groups/statics and stuff just burned me out too much, one day I'll go back for it

The Rathalos mount was one of the driving forces that allowed me to power through A Realm Reborn. I was brand new to the game out at BB Station and some dude was mounted on it on top of the buildings roof. I did a double take. "What in the wrong franchise is that doing in this game!?" I'm an original Monster Hunter (1 on the PS2 back in the early 2000s) played that game for hundreds of hours so when I saw Rathalos I was awestruck I asked the man how to get it and he told me and I thought at the time it seemed such a task. I mean in some ways it is, considering it would be months before I'd even get to and through Stormblood and then the grind of farming. I still think Kut Ku would have been a more fun choice for a carry over wyvern mount but Rath is awesome as well and I guess makes sense, being that he would constantly fly away to another zone when you were fighting him. He's used to riding the skies, the chicken shite he was. But yeah Realm Reborn was a struggle for me to get through I was not enjoying a lot of it, but that drive for that mount and fishing of all things really kept me engaged until the game got me invested.

My favorite is the giant Axolotl. It's just so funny because I had to beat God for that.

My favorite mount remains the Regalia. I just like funny car. The new Torgal mount is close second, because you can pet him.

Demi pheonix is the mount I so badly want but have no group to do p4s with .

I'm about the music. So Omega is great! That rock music is awesome. Omega and the gobwalker have some nice rock n roll. I have all 10 of these mounts, and I'd rate demi-ozma the best looking of them all, with the P8S sunforged as the 2nd. But my personal favorite of all time is my Pteronodon. That thing is gorgeous. It's custom music is unlike any other in the game. I'm after another insanely hard one right now called the "construct VII" It's a rock and roll music mount with a mechanized suit skin. It puts the player into the suit like Iron man! and you get to fly around with jet boosters on your feet! The cost for that one is steep: 100 frontline PVP wins on the Hakai map. That map only happens every 3 days, so feel free to wait it out!

I think the raid series having 1 1/2 Phoenix reskins is kinda lame, even more so after they gave a cool one with a special action for the anniversary event. Cerberus or the Mecha Dragon for all ShB Dragon mounts are much cooler even if a bit over the top. Axolotl for the final raid mount is a power move and incredibly cool.

I'm really surprised the ugliest mount in the game made it onto this list. I only know one person who even has the sabotender and I hate seeing it on my screen every time he summons it. It's absolutely vile. Pandaemonium Savage mounts really stepped it up, although I'm still a little salty that the P12S mount was something small and cute rather than big and epic. It's a nice little thing to pop out while gathering - since bigger mounts can get in the way - but I wish P12S gave something else. My static is going back to the first tier right now to fight the bosses as on-content iLvl as we can. Working on P3S right now. Can't wait to have that mount.

the ugliest mount in the game didn't make it on this list, because the ugliest mount in this game is the LUNAR! FREAKING! WHALE! that thing makes my eyes bleed every time i have to see it. 100% most disgusting mount in existence. also, I have the sabotender mount and i think it's adorable ^.^
