Top 10 Fastest High Speed Trains in the World 2020

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Presenting you the list of the top 10 fastest high speed trains in the world as of 2020.
Since decades ago, Asian and European countries have been competing to achieve the best high speed networks 🚊 in the world alongside creating the fastest train in the world. Although first introduced in Japan (with its almighty Shinkansen bullet trains), high-speed rail was truly established in Europe during the 80's and 90's and it continued to grow ever since. A high speed train is generally defined as one which operates at speeds of over or at 125 mph (200 km/h), with a high level of service, and generally comprising multi-powered elements. Shinkansen trains in Japan are also referred to as bullet trains. Achieving the crown of the fastest train in the world is a tough challenge, as many countries operate with large success high speed trains in the world. Recently, technological advancements have pushed Asian countries (especially China 🇨🇳) back to the top of the table of fastest trains in the world, now overtaking Europe in all the important aspects: number of people using high speed train network 🛤, price per kilometre 💵 as well as operating and top speeds. Although the numbers seem pretty clear, there is still a large debate on who holds the world fastest train. The big outsider of this top remains America, which mainly focuses on air travel, but has recently signed a contract for the first project of high speed rail and will classify in future rankings. And since talking about outsiders, there's also a surprise 🎁 entry into this top, comparing to the previous year (fastest trains in the world 2019). This video is a continuation of the famous train videos series on this channel, featuring top 10 trains.

1:00 Why is some of the video artificially sped-up in this?! It’s very misleading when you do that. A video about how fast something moves should only show it at genuine speeds. Otherwise I’ll post a video called “fastest runners” and I’ll use footage shown at 3x speed so that I’m faster than a car... This is why this video has so many downvotes compared to upvotes.

High speed rail won't work in the USA because there is less crime in Europe. Here in America, if someone boards a near empty train late at night at a deserted platform, there is a good chance he/she will be a victim of crime. The whole culture here has to change.

The speed achieved by Japan and France is the fastest on the experimental track, not the speed of actual operation. The speed achieved by China is the speed of actual operation. Moreover, Japan's high-speed maglev train is still under construction, which can be completed as early as 2027

@@crfan4232 You can continue to find excuses to comfort yourself. China did buy high-speed rail technology from Japan and Germany in the early days, but it was a long time ago. China now has the largest high-speed railway network, and China is constantly developing new high-speed railway technologies. At present, the fastest train in the world is actually running in China, not Germany.
