Honorable mention to Vault 51 of Fallout 76. Effectively run by a ZAX, an A.I. who was in charge of picking the overseer, ZAX got the idea that a leader proves themselves in a crisis...so, it invented crises. Faking emails between spouses, changing the Vault rules and schedules, ZAX intentionally drove wedges between friends and family until the Vault was consumed in violence. By 2078 the only things in its halls were skeletons of the residents and ZAX's voice with nobody to hear it.

8:55: Quick correction: They didn't elect an overseer who would be sacrificed. They had to elect a sacrifice, and when the first overseer sprung this on them, they were so pissed off that they elected him to be the sacrifice. After that, sacrificing the overseer just became an unenforced tradition.

some of the residents formed a pseudo government and used their influence to avoid getting elected, one group of them coerced a woman to provide s#$ual favours by promising to spare her husband and then he got elected anyway, she then killed the group and got elected at which point she tried to do away with the election and leave it up to chance so the pseudo government in question started a civil war in an attempt to maintain their power, calling her a Tyrant and accusing her of trying to subvert democracy and the like, when it was over there were only 5 survivors who refused to sacrifice anyone else(4 of whom k$#%ed themselves out of shame)

106 from Fallout 3 was my all time pick for "creepiest vault stories" They pumped a drug into the air vents that causes hallucinations and psychosis throughout the entire vault, and the only ones left there are mad inhabitants who attack you on sight. The hallucinations the player has are pretty creepy too.

If the Fallout show depicts any of these creepy vaults, then it’s turning into a full out horror show fast.

They referenced a couple of the experiments that were done in some of the vaults. The only vault where the character goes to is Vault 4, where they show that the original inhabitants there were being experimented on by mixing monster and human DNA by Vault Tec scientists before the monsters took over and killed the scientists.

I’d watch a Fallout spinoff of Black Mirror.

The vault with all the Residents calling you Gary was creepy.

The vaults are a fascinating commentary on what happens when mega corporations that only care about making money and the military industrial complex, which has no respect for human life, work hand in hand and what unimaginably cruel horrors can manifest from such a union.

Wow. Vault 19 is way too relevant these days. Dwellers being assigned either Red or Blue and told to distrust one another? Sounds awfully familiar.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the vault were it’s 999 men and only one woman inside, to me that’s the most horrifying. I could be wrong but I heard that apparently when the woman realized she was the only woman there, she immediately ended her life.

I think they were only using vaults that were actually shown in game, but yeah, that would be my least favorite too. Although I like 'Random Encounters ' take on it where she's turned it around and pretty much killed all of them.

Yep, Vault 68 (the one you mentioned) is the most fucked up. Also vault 69 (nice) which is kind of joke, its literally just the inverse with 1 man and 999 women. Both are no longer considered canon but were detailed in the Fallout bible written by Chris Avellone who worked on Fallout 1 + 2 and was a lead designer for New Vegas, both are fucked up because of the immediate implications as well as the obvious issues over successive generations and inbreeding.

There's another vault similar to that one but the population of the vault was 80 men, 20 women, and 1 adult female Black Panther yeah the implications of that vault made me sick to my stomach.

One of the best things about the show coming out is a new generation will be introduced to fallout and the amazing lore

Fallout new vegas is my favorite but ..... Wow the other fallout's had me distraught almost forgot about the other deep creepy vaults

I love the Pint Sized Slasher! Such a cool twist in an already messed up quest.

I seriously question Mojo's knowledge when they neglect to mention the Vault 22 survivors that become cannibals in Honest Hearts as portrayed in the absolute perfect environmental story about the Survivalist Randall Clark! Also, while Vault 112 is messed up, Vault 11 has one of the worst stories ever. RIP Kate.

It was fun meeting GARY in vault 108. The magic trick he did was amazing.

Also Vault 95 has a machine that cures addiction in it. It's super cruel.

I have heard from another source that only one of the Overseers was in on it, that being the Red Sector. Blue Sector Overseer became paranoid as well.

a fallout movie based on one of these vault story's would be good if executed correctly with good casting and knowledge of the lore

That one was created by the Penny Arcade comic guys and though it's NOW canon because of it, we never see it in the games which is what he preface the video with.

@@benadlam1697 The one with the Panther was actually 80 men, 20 women, and one Adult female Black Panther and well it wasn't pretty as either portrayal of the story boiling down to Vault-Tec seeing what the reactions in a situation where there wasn't enough men or women again it depends on the portrayal of the events would be but the end results where all 20 human women being repeatedly raped and gang-banged and bestiality going on as one of the men would due to not getting to have sex with one of the 20 human women have sex with the adult female Black Panther instead. So yeah not a pretty sight at all with there being no account if there were any survivors or if any of the sex aka bestiality and repeated rape and gang-banging resulted in the human women and the female Black Panther getting pregnant and giving birth to offspring.

If you look up some of the known canon vaults and ones not canon some are hilarious to straight up scary.

106 and 108 are the 2 that come to mind for creepiest vault

5:51 I hate to nit pick here but its pronounced, "SW-A-H Stradivarius," with the L being silent not, "soul." It's fine a lot of people get that wrong because of how its spelled.😁 That said yes Vault 92 in my opinion was one of the most disturbing aside from perhaps Vault 22, 87, 11 and most especially 112. The most disturbing vault to me was the vault where it was 80 men, 20 women, and 1 adult female Black Panther I'll spare you the disturbing details but let's just say if you're familiar with the depictions of how men act in apocalyptic scenarios where it's just men with only a few to almost one woman left on the planet you already know what happened in that vault and it's not pleasant.

Fallout 3 was horrifying and perfect. 🎉

I find the use of clips very lackluster and lazy... It's like you just walked through the vault and used the footage of shooting people. no clips to show more about the vault, like the special room in the overseers office at vault 11, or heck even show the humans that were affected by the spores in the other vault. It's like you couldnt put in that little extra effort for the video. Makes it feel very rushed.
