My wife inherited her dad's coin collection last year. It's a nice addition to what I already have. :) I remembered he had an uncirculated roll of Ikes so I just dug them out. Sure enough they are 1976-D type 1. So, even though I'm not an expert, I've been collecting for 20 years myself, so I took a look at them with my loop. Gotta say, I'm sending 4 of them in. The rest are MS 65 or 64, but these four, well, they are quite outstanding. Time to go through the other five rolls, but they aren't marked unc. Thanks very much for this interesting video!!

I found another roll of unc, but these are 1976-D type 2. Two are good enough to send in, but I'm gonna wait until I see what they do with the 4 I send first. :)

I have got so much old coins how can I sell it?

I just came back to this video again, I have access to some Ike dollars that were given to me by grandparents when I was really young. My mom has an old canvas bank bag filled with different coins. One thing I am mainly looking for is to see if there's a high grade 1921-S Morgan that I could send off to get graded to be part of my collection, I did find an 1971-D Ike that would most likely grade 65 or higher. Oh man! I'm so happy you did this video! I am working on an Ike dollar collection. I have 12 of them graded ms65 or better, all in NGC holders. My "best" one may be a 1973 S silver graded MS67. What do you suppose it's worth? I intend to collect every Ike dollar listed in the blue book in an NGC holder in a grade of 65 or better. I collect all different coins, but this set is going to be "my baby" Thank you very much and keep these great videos coming!

@@CoinHELPu I never have seen the one that I have shown. IMO it's a stunner. I have it put away but it's a picture of him as shown and a picture of him with his military hat on. If I'm remembering correctly it's a commemorative coin. I will have to get it out. Thank you!!!

@@CoinHELPu Hi can you please help me I have a 1971 Eisenhower dollar made a silver with No Mint mark It does not show the Brown copper on their side of the coin It weighs more than a regular copper Eisenhower It makes a different sound than a regular Eisenhower In the finish on it is different than a regular Eisenhower It is a bit tarnished And I'm wondering if it may be a proof with no mint mark or a standard Eisenhower minted on the wrong metal Please help me find out what I have thank you

This was great, I been tryin to find out about "what is a coin collector hobby called?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Wonenry Sonucas Approach - (should be on google have a look )? It is a great one off guide for uncovering a proven trading method to get fast results minus the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my coo-worker at very last got astronomical results with it.

I really liked the Ike video and low and behold I have a 1976 no. 1 with the big fat letters. It looks to be in fairly good condition. I guess I should send it in for grading. You all out there, Should I or what. Thanks for the input information. Have a great weekend. Joe

It's going to cost you more money to grade than it is worth, struck through grease filled die doesn't add any value.

It's the business clad 1972 but not the silver. Look up the Ike group website, they have varieties listed.

Good morning, I acquired almost complete book of ike dollars. From 1971 to 1978. Coins are in binder and aren't scratched or nicks on them .. please advise what can I do to grade and maybe sell...

I have a bunch of 72 ike's. My Dad used to buy them new in rolls, take them home and put them in plastic. Do you think it would be worth sending them off to a grading service? I'm pretty sure one of them is a type two.

Why does the grading companies put a coin in a slab and it's turned. As in the top of the coin at 12:00, o'clock. I never understood why they did that. Rotated? Good video. 😃😎

'73 and '74 brown box Ike's arrived today. No tics or damage of any kind and both will bring a 67 DCAM I believe. Fields almost black they are so deep and the even deep frost is ridiculous. Both clearly very very early strikes on their particular die. Simply flawless coins.

Where did they come from? My bank doesn't have any. I wanted to give my grandchildren some like my Grandma did for her grandchildren. The ones that I had were stolen from my home years ago before I knew anything about coins. And I don't know much right now. I'm learning though.

I found a 1972 Eisenhower in a childhood coin sack, coolest thing yet.

The #1 bicentennial proof no mintmark was actually a pattern or specimen coin struck by the mint. It was given to a Senator, who spent it at a department store. The clerk wisely kept it, and as far as I know the family still owns it.

I have one of the 1971 Lincoln Silver dollars with a necklace hole in the top. Does this totally deface the value??

Good information, so can you guide me to have my coin a type 2 valued.

My Mom gave me some Ike dollars, that are really nice and don't appear to have any issues, that are in GSA type holders. I already spoke to NGC, I can send them off and get them graded like you would GSA morgans. I am going to send them off then I can post the results when I get them back. Both of my parent's support me when it comes to collecting coins.

I Have a 1977 D in the Apollo 11 Celebration Container which also has the Palau $2.40 Stamp. I am an amateur collector but like the sound of what this one may be valued at. I need to know how to get it valued and where. Then I would like to know if you are better auctioning this or selling it direct.

My uncle recently passed in November 2020 and has a few coins that was in his safe....1 was a dollar. Coin like in your video. 1 is a 1964 Kennedy half dollar and a 1994 Kennedy half dollar. There are also sba dollar coins of different dates. I am in Nashville Tennessee and want to get them looked at. These coins are not in a protective case, he stored them inside prescription bottles. Where do I go here locally to appraise them? Thanks

Unless they're graded and attributed by PCGS or NGC then they will not be worth the same or much more than face. The coins showed are graded and labeled by PCGS.

Hello Mr Daniel Level of membership in pcgs gonna do anything in grading for examp i have basic level membership and someone else have a gold level pcgs do better grading or higher number for Gold level.?

Is there a known error for a 1978 D with the R in dollar damaged or mis-stamped. There looks like some build-up inside the R and in two places on the rim. I just cannot tell if this could have happened while being stamped or if it is damaged after being minted. There is some slight difference in sheen. Is there somewhere that I can send pictures?

My brother & I have several interesting coins in which we would like to sell if in fact they have value but we are not financially able to have them graded. Can u please let me know if there r other options. Thank u in advance

There's not, you can visit a local dealer, join a coin club, go to a coin show and talk to people.

Question. I have a 1965 Washington quarter DDR. Almost every letter on the reverse shows doubling. It would probably grade MS65-66. I can’t find a value on it anywhere. And I’ve looked just about everywhere. I found the DDO in that year but that’s it. Any idea what it could be worth? It’s a nice coin with nice doubling so just your best guess. I know it’s hard without seeing it so could you just give me an idea?

Look up Heritage Coin auctions sold auctions. Usually if it hasn't sold or it's not listed at PCGS price guide it is not worth that much.

I notice all the type 2 coins don't have it. And the type 1s DO...But my coin has not been found on any channels or websites I went to. I would greatly appreciate any help you could offer. You strike me as a Very Knowledgeable Man in this field. Thank you in advance my friend.
