The worst part about the Zoo remake in Cold War was that you don't get the full original map layout. They blocked off several areas with metal barricades which really confuses me because one of the areas looks partially created. What's the point of doing that?

I rather loved Showtime. The slight expansion happened partway through the match, but it was still small enough to keep the shipment experience intact. The rest I can agree on.

Showtime was fun as hell, especially on Search, played for hours with my crew way back when.

Say what you want but the 2019 version of Backlot played so well in Search and Destroy

was thinking the same exact thing when that part came up. a lot of MW 2019 maps played good on SND but on respawn game modes they were awful.

Zoo is a great map,in bo1 and bocw really underrated

I was actually happy to see Zoo make a return in CW. It's one of those maps that people tend to forget about, which was a nice breath of fresh air to see an old map that didn't get played much or thought of make a return.

Showtime is the best version of Shipment. It expanded upon it, whereas other Shipments are just bland in comparison

Showtime was a good map and it really gave shipment a new feel

I actually like MW2019's Shipment and Cold War's Zoo

I will agree with anyone who loved the COD WW2 shipment because that map was really good for a shipment map especially with the large amount of spawn protection

I love having remakes but not as the primary source of post launch content. They used to be a nice addition in a set of new original maps. Now, we get more remakes than anything else in games with barely any original content to begin with.

they remade zoo with the intent of it being used as a major part of one of the areas of their new Ural mountain warzone map (that never happened) so it just ended up being a multiplayer map with an expanded version in zombies outbreak

Can you do best map remakes? Hazard from BO1 is my all time favorite!

I played cold war like 3 times and I actually like the TTK in that game and the little health bar. I wish mw2 implemented that, especially a lower TTK

I didn’t know that one map was a remake of pipeline until recently lol. Also, I think that WMD map remake was later made free because I was playing on it weeks ago. And I certainly didn’t buy that pass lol. That talsik backlot map was hardly changed from what I can remember….anyone know the main differences?

10:30 weird, people actually playing mw2019 loved it. There's a very clear difference between treyarch fans and IW fans starting from ghosts onward

I never played Texas in vanguard but I loved that map in ww2. I also liked mw19 shipment better than the newest and original. Maps shouldn’t be singular leveled all maps need high and low ground or it’s a useless map to play

It really depends tbh. Sometime the chaos is fun, but it’s super repetitive when it’s every single match, the new one at least depending on the mode slows it down the majority of the time but once you get a chopper gunner it turns chaotic

I’ll take a remake over a remaster any day… at least there’s a hint of creativity.

I agree with most of this list. Mine would've been: Shipment in MW2019 Dome in Vanguard Wasteland in MW2 Talsik Backlot in MW2019 Jungle in BO4 Rupture in BO3 Verge in BO3 Atlas Gorge in AW Crash in MW2019 Vacant in MW2019 Shoutout to Taraq in MWII as well

Nobody ever mentions the Ghosts free map, it was all blue and I’m sure it was a remake of something - even if it isn’t I believe it’s not been mentioned much/at all in these rankings, absolutely awful map! Skyfall or something I’m sure it was named

iw coud have easily just taken the mwr backlot and ported it over to mw2019 yes i'm use they would've had to change how the map plays in the new engine and play style of the game but everyone would have been happy dispite it being a lazy port

Black ops Cold War overall had the best map remakes imo they were bascially 1to1 recreations of the og maps.
