That is not tense. In fact later on she snuggles up to kat. Plus they purposely moved their seats together. Dom moved over in her seat so kat could get in hers on the left side doms side instead of her going on the right where no one was. The way everyone else got in their chairs. Along with everyone else in the world.

When she put her arm around her chair she was rubbing her thumb on Dominiques arm. Everything has changed in their behavior towards each other in 2019 compared to the others in the past.
