I love how Kim and Ron were the only animated couple on the list and still #1. I grew up with the show as a kid and loved their friendship so much and the way the writers handled their newfound romance in the unexpected renewal season was just perfect for both the young and older audience. Their friendship was still pretty much the same with an exception of a kiss, hand hold or flirty moment here and there. I seriously hope the live action actor/ress have as much chemistry on screen as the original characters do!

Honestly, though, for me, Dean would have to be the sweetest boyfriend out of the three for Alex (remember the time when Riley decided to stare at other women around his ex-girlfriend Alex Russo in Alex’s Spring Fling? I think I can see why they broke up, Riley is the type of guy to have a thing for many women while Alex would rather stay with just one guy despite how hawt she/Selena Gomez is).

While Miley and Jake had more of the story to tell, I thought for sure they'd lead into Miley's and Jesse's. Even if they make the two separate relationships tied and bumped the choice before or after. I also think it was so hilariously satisfying when Miley figured out her family and friends hid Jake's clothes so he had to leave in his cheesy Christmas outfit

Troyella (from the High School Musical sequels), Miley Stewart X anyone in general (especially male teenagers), Maddie X Diggy, Alex Russo X Mason Greyback (because at best, their relationship is on and on so outside of being siblings, Jalex from Wizards of Waverly Place could be an honorable mention on this list) and Pac-Man X Pinky (Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures version) are also toxic Disney Channel couples.

never watched Austin & Ally but omg i love series finale time skips so much. you see all the couples pair up, have kids, their character developments evolved, their individual careers and live long dreams flourish. its wonderfull tying it all together as a series ends that way

I think the opposite tbh. It feels lazy to skip all of that development and be like "look, it's the distant future and everything has changed now". It's like closure for a completely different set of people, not the ones you've been watching for several seasons. Let it end with the idea that the distant future is coming one day and it'll be good.

Kim and Ron were my OTP, they are a strange couple for Disney shows, but they have chemistry due to their differences and yet the best Disney channel couple.

Austin & Ally will always be one of my favorite ships. Austin was always doing sweet things for Ally or risking loosing out on an opportunity for something even before they got together. And he never did it to get something out of it. He did those things because they were genuine friends. And honestly I think the best relationships start as friendships, they built their foundation from the ground up. They definitely should have had a higher position on this list.

KIM AND RON NUMBER ONE AND RIGHTFULLY SO! Seriously they had been best friends since pre K. How many of you guys remember the complete awe you were in when you watched them share their first real kiss at the end of So The Drama. I love them so much

It wasn't on the list but should have been Justin and Juliet from Wizards of Waverly Place because their end was very tragic where she left the scene with Mason after Justin actually fell in love with her.

I love Kim and Ron. Their love wasn't forced. It also reminds me of how me and my boyfriend became a thing. Also we have the same names which is funny and weird at the same time. Lol 💙😀👍

Honestly I didn't mind Maddie and Diggie's relationship in the beginning but always felt that they were more "bros" than an actual couple. Josh seemed to treat her better and I think balanced out her roughness well. Was not a fan of the whole Diggie coming back for her and serenading her to win her over again, and she just blindly went back to him. My theory as to why that happened was because the actors for the couple were engaged in real life at the time so they tried to play off of that chemistry?
