I personally would have put Ek for the Wild in the number 10 spot over Hock. Ek has been criminally underrated in the NHL he is one of the best two way centers and when he is hurt (like right now) the team suffers greatly. Even on the Vikings I would be temped to say Darrisaw is better than Hock. Dont get me wrong Hock is great and I'm super happy he is on MN but I would probably have him at 12.

Boldy is just a little too hot and cold for me (he is still young). When Boldy is on his game he is better than Ek but when he is not on its game it hurts. Ek is also insane on the PK. I still would never want to trade Boldy, Ek, Kaprizov or Faber from MN.

Kirill I put up so high because of his superstar status and how dominant he can be when fully healthy. This season he’s been very good and keeping the team’s limited playoff chances close to alive. He was someone I thought of putting on here for sure because of his HOF career, but it ultimately came down to how they are performing as of right now and not so much what they've done throughout their career. If it was for their entire career Fleury is probably the number 1 player we would have.

Yeah there's a real argument for 1 and 2 there for ANT and JJ. I went with JJ because he's making history in his sport... but maybe ANT can make some history 👀 CD is someone I think should have been at least an honorable mention yeah... That dude is a monster. The only defensive player I think could've made the list was Hunter... but he's not on the Vikings anymore. Harrison Smith should have probably gotten an honorable mention the more I think about it though.

Lewis is so much fun to watch ! For me it was just because of how small of a sample size we have for him to this point. Kaprizov, ANT and JJ are basically in that same tier of superstar players at their sport, you could truly make an argument for any of them to be number 1.

7:44 the reason Correa took the “break” was cause his plantar “broke” which was good and they decided it was best to just rest him mostly because the division was already a lock otherwise. He could have came back for the last week of the season

Yeah that’s totally valid! He was a huge contributor when JJ and Kirk went down. Provides good spark for the offense. I hope he recovers soon and is on the field close to the start to the regular season. There’s a cool video out there he’s doing some squats in the weight room, so there is definitely signs he is recovering well !!

Buxton was just so hurt last year… it was hard not having him on this list, but I hope that changes for next year ! I still think Kaprizov is a bit better than Pablo, but they’re both elite! Royce and Correa were back and forth and ultimately I went Correa one spot higher just because of how he ended the year and his overall leadership. Lewis will climb the list though I am sure of it!

I would have Ant at number 1 over JJ. The reason why is that with Ant I have belief that the Twolves can win any game, that Ant can be the best player on the court even with the likes of Jokic and Luka. I know it’s a different sport but I just don’t get that feeling with JJ. JJ is the best at his position but at his position I don’t think he can single handedly win Vikings games the way Ant can single handedly win games for the wolves.

That's a very good point... I found it so difficult making the list because of the fact that a basketball players impact can single handedly make a team better overall. Football is more of a team sport for sure. I guess it came down to Justin Jefferson breaking so many records so early on in his career. Truly though I went back and forth between the two of them. The Twins have some REAL good players. I should’ve had Darrisaw and probably Harrison Smith in my honorable mentions for sure.
