Top 10 Country GDP Per Capita Ranking History (1962-2017)

This video shows the Top 10 countries with highest GDP per capita from 1962 to 2017. Most countries are from developed regions in Europe, North America, and Asia. As of 2017, Luxembourg has been regarded as the richest country in terms of GDP per capita.
Per capita GDP is a measure of the total output of a country that takes the gross domestic product (GDP) and divides it by the number of people in that country. The Per capita GDP is especially useful when comparing one country to another, because it shows the relative performance of the countries. A rise in Per capita GDP signals growth in the economy and tends to reflect an increase in productivity.

GDP Per-capita gives much more insight about the country's wealth than the country's total GDP. In the previous GDP video,Indians were bashing about the 'being next superpower' statements while not even being able to make into even top 100 list of GDP per-capita. Individual wealth should be prioritized.

Ireland had a long term goal in this instance, now whether companies or individuals pay the full amount owed to the state is another matter, or they could risk a healthy fine or jail. Each country can set its own tax regulations to benefit it's citizens, tax Haven seems to be used as an excuse by some to theorize why a country like Ireland is the fifth richest country in the world. 12 per cent tax rate had alot to do with Ireland's ranking, so long as all companies pay the full amount.

money means nothing if only 1% of the population have it, and thats what happened with countries like monaco, kuwait or qatar, even USA, if you compare the average american vs average german, you'll see that the average american has lower statistics than the german despite gdp, thats because germany has more equality, and that stands true for new zealand too.

Notice how countries like Lichtenstein, Monaco, Switzerland, etc which do a lot of dealings in the financial market rather then producing goods , along with a few of the oil rich countries float around the top. And in particular notice how the financially focused ones will suddenly drop off the map and another financially focused on move up. Have to wonder if that's a reflection of the super rich moving their money around as much as anything directly having to do with the specific country. Why would there suddenly be such huge shifts in money that a country, Monaco, would go all the way from the top to disappearing below the bottom?

Like for example how China is so rich because the population is so poor. If they would provide properly for their citizens they wouldn't have all this money to spend. So they are basically trading the well being of their citizens against large concrete structures in the middle of nowhere because they are still very insecure about America and Europe and like to show how good they are doing.
