I've given insulin to patients for many years, don't act like these are the only meds out there and people are falling over dead bc an obese person is taking their meds

As a diabetic, I get so angry because I sometimes, often, have to wait a damn month to get my ozempic!! ​@marydrew599 I completely understand it lowers numbers. But the drugs also lower some people's weight which in turn can lower their health risks, some which could be due to their weight, such as diabetes, HBP, and other heart conditions. The drug is wonderful for many.

the real problem is when diabetics like me can not get our prescriptions refilled because everyone who needs to lose 10 pounds is taking it. So frustrating as well as potentially dangerous

American food is loaded with preservatives that cause all manner of endocrine issues that make it difficult to lose weight in the normal manner. Produce is also not the same as it was, say, 50 years ago, because its all grown to stay fresh longer, sacrificing taste and nutritional values. The Pill is also a culprit that causes multiple health problems, especially endometriosis. We need an investigation into American food production and processing.

ppl on Ozempic, look odd in the face because they got work done before taking the drug. That to me I feel is one of the main causes. Other than that, it depends on their lifestyle. It isn't just the Drug doing that to their face. JUST FYI. Also, Tori Spelling has had so much work since she was young, and she has been botched along with Sharron. you have to put a lot of other things into the equation. because it really isn't all "Ozempic " it really isn't.

I dont think celebrities need to share their medical issues with the world, but if your taking credit for all your weight loss efforts when all your actually doing is taking a drug it's irresponsible and unethical. Oprah deserves a weight loss win, I've seen her yoyo over the years glad she FINALLY came clean on the drugs. Hope there aren't any negative long term effects.

I was prescribed one of these diabetic drugs for my uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes way before anyone realized they could be used as a weight loss drug. Within days of my first weekly injection, I experienced nausea and loose bowels. My side effects worsened🤮🤦‍♀️after attempting my next dose. Informed doctor and adamantly refused to try again. (Even after my diabetes was excellent from this drug). It made me lose 17 lbs in one 1/2 weeks!

Food can be an addiction and for many emotional reasons- so writing down what you eat and reading labels has little effect on addiction. Making decisions is wrapped up with the addiction, which negates the simplistic advice to ‘make proper food choices’ .

There are a of these medications for the people who need it because they are diabetics. These medications are life saving medicines.

That is how Ozempic supposedly works. It makes you feel nauseous so you barely eat. As a diabetic I tried it for a short time when I could get it. Sometimes I could not get it because those who were not diabetic were buying it up! I decided not to continue to use it because of horrible potential side effects.

Sharon and Kelly look awful,they looked better when they were heavier.

I’ve lost 18 pounds since 4 May it’s now 13 June I just stopped eating most carbs except for vegetables and fruit. I cut out junk food I never thought I could do. Meat and vegetable twice a day with some fruit.:I’m using cottage cheese and make sure I get a lot of protein. I walk, not even outside because it’s too hot and I lift weights three times a week, that’s it.Oh by the way I’m 71. for me it was just making the decision. I’ve got 12 more pounds to go. It really has not been difficult. I go 15/16 hrs. without eating. I drink a ton of water. It’s a little bit of a pain because I’m also counting calories, 1200 cal a day but it still only takes me a few minutes a day. If I can do it anybody can. I was a total sugar addict.

Just over 20 lbs for me since Feb 15, 2024. I am 72 years old so a little harder as you age. So for me intermittent fasting- I only eat during an 8 hour time period. No snacks after supper just green tea. And NO bread. I will treat myself to dessert if it is a special occasion. It is my thought if I can do it anyone can but as you know it is work. My belief is the slower you lose it the better it stays off and I think your skin tends to tighten better. Just my thoughts❤

I think it’s awful My husband is diabetic and could not get his medication for 3 months because of these rich arrogant narcissistic people He had to be on another medication that was not good for us sugar levels You all are shameful!!

I started Mounjaro in January and it's been life changing for me. It's been a nightmare trying to find the dose I need. I am a diabetic.. It pisses me off that celebrities are getting it to drop maybe 20 lbs for vanity.. Those who need it the most are left searching for the medication now. I've lost 35 lbs so far. I haven't had any uncomfortable side effects with Mounjaro.

I'm a nurse, and you do NOT understand how these medications work. They are not insulin, but work to slow down the digestive process. In some people (mainly their target group, Type 2 diabetics) , it can actually bring on a horrible condition diabetics are already at risk for: gastroparesis, which is where one's gut motility completely stops! NO thanks! I'm a Type 2 and completely refused any and all forms of Semaglutide!

Wait these meds are not insulin!

These drugs have been a miracle treatment for Type II diabetics whose blood sugar levels continue to creep up year after year in spite of diet and exercise. We don't usually lose the drastic weight that non-diabetics are experiencing. I lost 15 lbs but much more than that, my blood sugar has been stable and my A1C is down, saving me from having to go on insulin. No nausea, no 'ozempic' face, no loss of muscle mass.

I have much more respect for those who lose weight naturally through lifestyle change and exercise.

I have to agree with your comment. Another thing noticed in my job is that once the weight is lost. I dunno but psychologically they are different people. I kind of liked them when they were pleasantly plump. Why can’t big be beautiful? Work out & bring new lifestyle changes & the weight be gone naturally. That’s a beauty!

Sharon Osbourne is the worst example of Ozempic...she spent half a million on plastic surgeries, only to totally deface that with ozempic..her face is like 0 % fat, just bones, a skeletor.

I'm aging fast enough, I dont need a weight loss product to make me look older. These people that are using this product looks much older.

I see patients every week that are or were on ozempic and they’ve all had to have their gallbladder removed. There’s too many negative side effects.

Frankly, I no longer have confidence in my primary doctor after he recommended Ozempic to me. I have diabetes that is well-managed on Metformin and was only 20pounds overweight, at that time. I didn't take accept subscribing to Ozempic because of the high expense, but now that I've researched the drug I'm grateful that I couldn't afford it. CLEARLY, MY DOCTOR WAS IGNORANT ABOUT THE DOWNSIDES OF OZEMPIC. I no longer trust his 'expertise'😮😢

I wouldn't take ozempic. Too many health risks associated with the drug. I don't think Sharon Osborne should have risked taking it, but too late now. I hope her body recovers since she said in another video she's not taking it anymore. She was very lovely before she took it. I just don't understand when a person is relatively healthy, like her and then takes a med with so many harmful side effects.

Just saw Oprah was hospitalized with stomach issues. She was super thin then saw picture's of her at Gayle King's sons wedding and she looked heavier like maybe she tried to go off it and had stomach paralysis?

I’m on Ozempic for my diabetes. It keeps my A1C at 6.5. I’m NOT on it to lose weight. I did lose about 10 pounds in the first few weeks of being on Ozempic; gained that back and haven’t lost anything since. I eat very small meals because I get full very quickly. Ozempic is NOT a ‘weight loss medication’, WEGOVY is. But, it seems those who are NOT diabetic and are taking Ozempic, those are the ones losing weight on it. Because doctors are prescribing Ozempic to NON-diabetics, the supply sometimes is NOT available to diabetics…it happened to me last year..🤬….and that’s wrong. Leave the Ozempic for diabetics…prescribe other drugs for weight-loss patients.

It messed my kidneys up! Didn't have problems before I took it!

Im osempic free i work out 4 times a week i lost 40 lbs by myself and look fabulous so glad my face looks better than ever let these suckers alone they can have Osempic they are just hooked on it imagine if there was no more left in the world they would look like hell so let them if they are happy

Type 2 diabetes at high cholesterol runs in my family and I'm glad I wasn't stupid to take the insulin but I don't have to be on insulin anymore and I'm off of sugar medication just blood pressure and cholesterol medication and the insolence I used to be on that was when I was way overweight I used to take full medications and I used to take two insulin pens but I don't have to take it and people just want to quit fix when intermittent fasting is good for the body I started my weight loss journey 4 years ago and I got it off the hard way I didn't get a quick fix and it was difficult but I managed and I fought it through

@@Laura-tp8wz Severe nausea, at the time I was still on it, but I have been off of it a year now and am still having nausea daily, but not as bad. It is mostly triggered by the smell of food. The worst is the ongoing, with no change at all, since stopping, severe explosive diarrhea at least once a week. There are certain foods now that I have to avoid completely or it instantly triggers it, and I am still figuring out what all of those foods are. I then have to fast for at least two days, before things settle and I can start back eating bland foods slowly. I no longer have the luxury of eating out with my husband, or at any family gatherings. So much of our social lives revolve around sharing meals with friends or family and that is out now for me. As I add a new food back to my diet, I literally have eat it then go sit near the bathroom just in case. It is too embarrassing not to do that if you get my hint. Unless I fast before hand I don't even leave the house anymore. And sometimes I will think a food is ok, until it isn't. It has effected the way my body does or does not absorb vitamins and minerals. I am so sick of supplements I can't see straight. Speaking of sight, it has effected my eyesight. Instead of having a gradual change from distance to near sight, there is literally a white out patch at the transition area, so no more driving for me either. I am almost a prisoner in my home. I was a very active person, worked so hard when I was young to pay off all my bills, to buy a place for us and our horses, and now I am a 54 year old invalid. And to top it all off, this drug that was supposed to help control my diabetes, actually made it worse. So I respectfully suggest you do not take it. Good luck on your journey to better health. Drugs have side effects. Oprah has been hospitalized with stomach issues just recently. I'm not saying it's because of the drug but stomach issues is one of the side effects.

Not to be against the medicine and it’s meant to help be healthy and in thin shape and attractive not the opposite in a unhealthy way like drugs or other problems, like disorders
