Wait till you see what Gabby Thomas, Sha'Carri Richardson, Athing Mu, Tia Jones, Kendra Harrison, Sydney McLaughlin and other Americans will do this year. Let's not even talk about Africans like Amusan, Ofili, Brume, Moraa, Gidey, Hailu and Kipyegon.

You are dreaming. Sha'Carri, Gabby, Julien and Shericka are in peak form. Gabby already dropped a 10.88 last month. Julien already has a 60m world lead and gold medal, as well as 4x200 WB. Sha'Carri is hungry for her first Olympic title. And Shericka is gunning for a world record. Do you see a 37-year-old Shelly-Ann beating all these women?

I love Merlin Ottey since the first time I saw her race. There was American women who beat her but she probably had the perseverance to keep running and try toget gold.

From Jam: SAFP, SJ, ETH, Brittany Anderson, Danielle W, Ricketts, Natasha Morrison, SLF, the 800m lady, the 3 400mH ladies, Candace Mc, Cherokee, , Akera Nugent, all those junior sprinters champing at the bit....the twins, the 2 Briannas, the training partners of ShaCarri, Serena Cole, the other emerging young 100m hurdler, The thrower lady ...so many to factor in. Need to wait for trials to see who makes the team. (Some of the names slip me at the moment, but several will burn their names into our psyche before year end).

Pardon me for suggesting a couple of minor tweaks to this video, in the area of pronunciation. Shaunae's husband, Maicel Uibo's last name is 'Weebo'. Also Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone's last name has the final 'e' emphasised (Levronay). Tony Hunt of World Junior Athletics News NZL..

Jamaica alone can give you 10, plus The Bah and PR hurdlers, (Devyne C. and Camacho-Quinn), Shaunae, Paulinho of the DR, Alfred of St Lucia, Sade of Barbados, plus a couple Cubans in the field events. Better you make it top 15 or you gonna cut some biggies.

Joke thing this. Honorable mention for Queen Shaunae??? I am Jamaican, but am offended for Bah Bah! Shaunee is no after thought, she is the real deal. As for the 100mH, if Tobi is in form, its a wrap for gold, sorry. I am hoping Danielle and Brittany can wriggle thru and get medals there, but Devynne is formidable.
