The sole Irish glee actor explained the whole set up of that series saying that none of the cast had any time off and the rehearsal were was everyday so they were given compulsory acting lessons as well as compulsory dance class while the show was shooting. It all came from ryan murphy who demanded 100 percent from cast all day long. There were no breaks allowed. He was asked about lea michelle and he said our days was so long and so exhaustive, that I really didn't have much time to meet her. And by thd end of the glee tour they were burnt out. If you Want to work with ryan murphy you have to be 100 percent demanding. That sort of thing takes its toll.

Watching it consecutively actually made me realize how much she improved or tweaked her performances to give every show's audience a unique experience. I'm debating on whether to upload the vids I took of her last show.

Thank you so much for acknowledging Fantasia. Her portrayal of Celie was amazing for an experienced actress. For her to have taken the roll as a novice and do ae well as she did is beyind incredible. I dont think I would've been interested in the film if they got anyone else for that part. Cynthia was amazing as well but Fantasia's portrayal was heartwarming, soul breaking, and uplifting all at the same time.

I totally agreed with your #3 and #2 picks. Quite spot on. So during the break for you to lure more subscribers, i was thinking who could you possible select as the #1 substitute to top all the rest? And then you announce Pearl Bailey. Pearl Bailey!!!!!! You arw absolutely correct!! Substituting the entire white cast of "Hello Dolly" with an entirely black cast headed by Pearl Bailey was a risky and gutsy move -- but also a correct one. So original, so unexpected! It made Pearl Bailey into not just a star, but a living legend. Great choice!!!

Here's how good Reba McEntire was in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN: The chief NYTimes theater critic Ben Brantley, who had hated that revival when it opened originally with Bernadette Peters, not only raved over McEntire's performance, but also said that she "doesn't just overcome the surroundings of a garish, condescending production; she transforms them, as if a gust of pure country air had turned the show's smirk into a smile." For good measure, he ended his review with "I should perhaps say that after seeing this revival the first time, I would have sworn I'd have returned to it only at gunpoint. Never mind. Ms. McEntire doesn't need a gun to bring Manhattan to its knees."

I was already going to London for an academic conference and it started 3 days after the last day of the 1st run of the show in Trieste. I sat up all the logistics to go to Italy to see the show beforehand. It was worth all the money. I saw it 4 times in two days. Just when you thought he couldn't top the 25th anniversary phantom he does. The new production has different directing and staging which he used to explore different things. The music from "Waitress" is so special. "She Used to Be Mine" is one of the saddest and most beautiful songs - I adore it. And weirdly, though it was written for a woman (and Bareilles rendition is stunning), I'd argue that the best version is the one by Jeremy Jordan. If you haven't heard it, go seek it out on KZread (and then go look for his rendition of "It's All Coming Back to Me Now.") You can thank me later.

They couldn’t justify having this list and not including her. They try to skip her but they get called out for it. No matter what opinions people have about Lea personally, she did bring the show out of the gutter and did it with very little notice. She has also never once spoken negatively about Beanie, even encouraging her from the beginning. Something Beanie can’t be said to have done herself. Everyone wants to call out Lea on hearsay, Ware herself said that someone told her that Lea said something negative about the wig, but Lea has done a ton of interviews about various things and has always been nice and positive about her coworkers. They trash her in interviews then later recant. Her supposed childhood friend, Jenna, and the guy she does a podcast with, even admitted to making stuff up and leaking it.
