Your beach scent video was the first place I saw Riviera Lazuli and I LOVE it! I'm not going to buy a full bottle right now since we're already in mid-August and the summer is winding down, but I'll pick one up around May of next year. It's going to be a go-to summer scent for me.

Nice video, as always. You have already done the Acqua di Parma and Bleu de Chanel.... Leaves me with the safe and popular PdM Layton and Ralph Lauren Polo Sport. Now I like RL Polo Sport due to memories from when I bought it for the first time back in 96. I like that it is different, from today's sporty (fresh) scents.

Bleu de Chanel is awesome and couldn't agree more. My memories with this perfume are tied with UK and having college parties. GREAT ONE.

The same sentiments with Bleu de Chanel. I was on a Eurotrip and it was my “scent of the trip”. Now, I feel incomplete when I use BdC on a normal day, because of the memories 😂

I've been enjoying Squid by Zoologist this summer. The blue juice says it all. It has become one of my favorites.

Fico di Amalfi arrived today. Smells very nice

Lazuli I blind bought and don't get me wrong it is a nice fragrance, but I was expecting more . I get tons of ambroxin there's nothing wrong with ambroxin but a lot of designers have that ingredient .I will be wearing Lazuli this week to test it out more👍🙏 I also have Larmes Du Desert Atelier Des Ors now that one is a love for me. Also got Iris Fauve this week which I'm saving to open next week 👊

Mandarino Di Amalfi Acqua is top draw in the hot hot hot weather. Spot on mate 👍

Neither are as good as Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua blu. £22 for 100ml right now. *just buy it* and thank me later, you'll get more value out of this comment than this video

For some reason, I just prefer "blue" fragrances year-round. Something about that fresh/clean vibe. I think that Light Blue eau intense and Man au Fraiche are fantastic value for the price.

That Versace is probably gonna be my next buy

Good shout on the TM Aqua line, I got Mandarino Di Amalfi for about £60 and don’t notice any performance difference on the EDP

Great viddy as usual, Christopher. Excellent choices as well. You know, “blue” fragrances, much of the time, are just so Summer fresh and uplifting...it’s wondrous that they call them “blue”. Blue is a synonym for “sad”. I feel anything but sad when I wear a solid blue type fragrance. Even a lot of the cheapies make me happy when I smell them. Anyway, I have absolutely no idea why I just wrote that. Hope you’re not blue over it. As for a fragrance in a blue bottle, I’m going to throw out Trussardi Riflesso Blue Vibe. Comes in a nice, heavy blue bottle, but the fragrance itself is classified as an oriental woody. I really enjoy that one, so figured I’d switch it up. Be well, m8!

I must admit there are a few that I still have to try but my goodness I really think Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction is super underated! Nothing smells like it. It smells Fresh, Fun, warm and sexy. Extremely versatile too as it could be worn in colder or hot weather as well as different occassions like a wedding, beach, date, etc. My Boss used to wear it at the office and never told me what it was but fortunately years later I stumbled on it when I ventured in the "cheaper" fragrance sector. Let me know what you think?

Hands down....Bleu Turquoise by Armani Prive’. Salted vanilla. Lasts all day. Hardly anyone knows how good it is yet, so you will be very unique wearing it, because it is very unique.

Great video as always Chris. Id be interested to see your take on the new zara fragrances that are getting some traction (Night Pour Homme 5 and Warm Black). Theyre at such good price points be nice to hear your thoughts👍

For the prices, they're decent takes on their inspirations (Tobacco Vanille and BR540).

"Fraichie" officially in the perfume vocab. Definition - freshies with "Fraiche" in the name. As for blue bottles, I've been wanting to try HdP's This is Not a Blue Bottle 1.4 by Luca Maffei. Not exactly a freshie, but a great colour nonetheless.

Chris have you tried Dior Ballade Sauvage? Best fig fragrance imo

I prefer the parfum version of bleu de chanel. It's what the edp should have been in my opinion. I'm going to buy one of those massive 300ml bottles

brother i think light blue intense is similar to polo blue,aqva di gio and can we wear light blue intense in winter

D&G Light Blue intense is wonderful. Problem for me is that I generally get used to fragrances very fast, so I nearly don't smell them anymore. Very annoying :( . But great vid!

Thoughts on Elysium Parfum Cologne versus the Parfum pour Homme?

Bdc edp is my most used blue fragrance aswell Chris covers any occasion,need to get a few of them TF the bottles are a great design perfect for displaying

Quite interested in riviera lazuli. I noticed it has immortelle in the base. That is a fun note to dissect. Would you say this is a summer freshie or more of a spring/autumn fragrance. I own lune feline and larmes and thinking about trying one of their blue bottles.

Its all about personal taste and skin ph at this point my friend. Some ppl cant wear the EdP bcs it smells bad on their skin while parfum works fine and vice versa. Go test em out and pick one ;) I use the EdP rn

Dior savage EDT and ysl edp are very good

Even some say it smells like office and bureaucracy, I think the pioneer blue is still Polo Blue. It’s been treated like that handsome uncle who’s seen his golden days getting behind him, but I think it deserves some love and recognition.

Best Blue to me is Narcisco Rodriguez Blue Noir EDT...

I purchased Bleu de chanel edt a few weeks ago and im loving it however doesn't last long on my skin . Is the edp any better?

JACKRUSSELL 76 EDP didn’t project as strongly off my skin, but for me, its longevity was MUCH better than the EDT. Plus I think EDP smells better.

If i remember correctly they reformulated the fragrance and now is weaker. L'Oreal is their new fragrance maker sadly ( they also killed YSL fragrances )

Roja elysium smells amazing for the first 5mins, sadly the performance doesn't last at all.

What kind of performance do you with with bleu edp

See this one is rough. I have many "Blue" fragrances in my collection that are a 10 in the Scent department but a 3 in the performance department. Yachtman Blue is one of them. My #1 has got to be Nautica voyage. Price to power nothing comes close.

Versace Eau Fraiche smells awesome but it has the worst performance ever.
