I found my old Gameboy advance and it had the yugioh game in it. didn't remember playing it, loaded it up, haven't stopped playing since. it's just freaking amazing, I'm surprised to this day none of the other games come close (obviously I prefer playing legacy rules than this new fast pace stuff)

Love playing it on my dsi you can pick that game up at anytime for some quick fun.

The first one in the video is not "2010: Reverse Arcadia" but "2011: Over the Nexus", and I don't recommend 2010 at all, either play 2009 or 2011 if you're into 5d's World Championship Tournament Series. And the last one in the video is not Eternal Duelist Soul but Forbidden Memories. And this is just me, but if you are trying to find the best Yu-gi-oh! game out there, then you should try 7 Trials to Glory (gba).

I personally own Yu-Gu-Oh! 5D’s World Championship 2011: Over the Nexus, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Duel Academy, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction & The sacred Cards Double Pack and love them all. I also have Link Evolution and Legacy of the Duelist but I wish the games now weren’t so bland. I personally loved Duel Academy and Over the Nexus the most and wish the games like Master Duel didn’t lean too heavily on PvP or single duels against AI. I wish we’d have a fully fleshed out story again like the old games instead of what’s basically a duel simulator like the modern ones tend to be.

I had a yu gi oh game on gba and it was so hard memories ayy

I played Eternal Duelist Soul to death. Very simple presentation, and gets right into the card duels without wasting time on fluff, perfect.

Forbidden memories was incredible for the time. Capsule monsters was fun. Loved gx on ds too lots of fun memories. Dungeon dice too. Duelist of roses

There's one yugioh game waaaaay back on the ps2, can't exactly remember what it was called, but it was kinda like the dungeon dice game we saw once in the show where joey had to dress up like a dog. I had these sort of capsules that represented different monsters and you were moving them around a game board trying to collect other capsules all while eliminating all of your opponents pieces. It basically made yugioh into an RTS with turn based fights like the old final fantasy games. I think it was called Yu-gi-oh capsule monsters?

1996? How do i not know about this game

I played all the yugioh ds games as a kid and they were some of my favorite games ever. I want to go back and play them all but remember almost nothing about how to play. I know yugioh has changed a lot since these games were a thing so I don't think watching a modern day video of how to play would help. Anyone have any suggestions for how I can relearn the old rules?

I was bit by the nostalgia bug recently and whitled down the selection to Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist and Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist : Link Evolution. Which one should i get? I did wash out back in the 5ds days just FYI.

Look like you never played the PSP games. Tag force 6 and arc v is the best Yu-Gi-Oh game in the series. Can't believe you included some spin off game like wheelie breaker.

No Duelists of the Roses or Capsule Monsters? No Tag Force? Eternal Dualist Soul is number 1 when its an inferior game to Stairway to the Destined Duel which is basically the same game but better? "Eternal Duelist Soul sets the bar in which all future games will be measured", ok and? How does that make it deserve to be 1st place? I think the Video Maker forgotten this was supposed to be a video about the BEST Yu-Gi-Oh games, not the most important. The limited number of cards really hurts the game because characters have similar decks, most duelists will have 1800-1900 attack beatsticks with the classic traps and spell cards. The sequel to this has more cards and gives the duelists more varied decks.
