My Father was so amazing at describing things like the origins of Chanel and the secret exclusive ingredients to me- I'm not sure if he studied perfumery but any thing he read or learned about was set to memory. I wish he could have smelled so many . I used to have a patchouli essential oil 30 years ago that he didn't care for - I'd bet he'd like some of these other varieties available today - I know I would have enjoyed conversation about fragrance with him. He was a genius, a true educator

Ah, how I loved you instantly for loving “L”. Such a complex scent. One of my favorites. I’m so sad they stopped making it. The juice in my pretty little bottle is turning a bit amber. Your reviews are very enjoyable- sincere and thorough. Glad to have found your channel, it’s wonderful!

I'm in awe of your knowledge and ability to be pristine in your descriptions of fragrances. That is a difficulty task. I love Light Blue. It's been my signature scent for years. Didn't realize I had an affinity for Bergamot until Bath and Body Works introduced Bergamot Waters. I must try your number one choice, Creed Acqua!

Thankyou for doing this video! I love hearing about women's perfume from a male's perspective. I love getting fragrances for myself, but I love getting fragrances to wear for my husband too!

Great video! I'm here after i read your fragrantica interview! I absolutely love L de Lolita Lempicka but its discontinued!! now im looking for an alternative vanilla/ cinnamon..

My short list would include Chanel Cuir de Russie, Hermes Jardin de Monsieur Li, Cartier Baiser Vole, and Borsari di Parma Violetta- All are wonderful.

I'm literally repulsed by TM's Angel. LOL Nice to see that it's contentious. I'll be sampling Creed's Acqua Florentina. Thanks!

Great video! :) Nice to hear your opinion on these scents. I LOVE Kate Walsh Boyfriend. Too bad it's discontinued. I have a full bottle and a couple oil rollerballs that will last for some time. Angel is fantastic as well. Wondering if you're talking about the current reformulated version or the older version. I still have a little of the old version left, but after that, I'll probably have to go with the newest formulation.

Don't have "Boyfriend" in our stores and haven't tried the exclusive Dior line yet, so I'll look that one up. :) My favorites are from VC&A - Un air de First and Collection extrordinaire Rose velours as well as the discontinued, unforgettable and sooo expensive Balenciaga Cristobal. After watching your video I ordered a sample of Acqua Fiorentina Creed right away. It came today. First I could smell a muscular scent, but then in 30 min smth citrusy and fresh. It Soo reminded me of a perfume I once had. I finally remembered it was Cheap & Chic I Love Love Moschino (for women) Thank you for your video. Definitely in love with Acqua Fiorentina Creed!

I definitely love Flowerbomb and I also like Light Blue, but I must try the Dior one from the private collection and the Creed as well as the Bond ones! I personally love Angel, but you know when it comes to fragrances you have to get what suits your personality and this is too much for me, so I sold it, unfortunately! Oh Yeah, Im kinda a niche kinda gal ... i used to sell mens frag back-in-the-day.. but I am very sensitive to fragrance that is not pure... I may like the scent, but I cannot 'take it' or 'wear it' cause of my head.

Btw... I have all the scents that you recommended on my Scentbird que. Can't wait to try them!

Thierry Mugler Angel is definitely polarizing. My girlfriend and her mom love it but Ive absolutely not been a fan of it from the first whiff. Now I know why. Super informative video guys. Thanks and good work

Oh yeah i have a question i've always loved sweet scents and i still do but there are a lot of girls who say that sweet scents smell childish and not feminine but i heard once that guys love sweet scents. So what is true now?

My dear friend and college roommate wore Light Blue when we lived together and I always think of her when I smell it on other people. Angel is one of my favorites too, and I'm dying to smell Chergui. I just ordered a sample of Jeux de Peau by Serge Lutens.

Very nice mix. I'd never heard of Feve Delicieuse, surprisingly. (The original - vintage - Miss Dior would be in my top ten, but I'd have to make separate lists for vintage and contemporary). The only one out of your top ten I own is Chergui. I notice you have no Chanels or Guerlains, arguably the two greatest classic perfume houses. Would you consider making a video about your favorites from these two houses (both the men's and the women's)? I like your engaging style. :-)

However, I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of No. 5, No. 19, or many of the "classics." I believe they deserve their praise and possess great character, but I think I would prefer something like Chanel's Chance. However, I do love Shalimar and Idylle! I will have to make a separate video on those! Thank you very much for watching! Your support means a lot to me!

I do not like Flower Bomb, Light Blue or Angel. So far all the Bond No. 9s that I have smelled leave me feeling nauseous but China Town sounds interesting and the bottle is a beauty. I'm really looking forward to experiencing Chergui. Great video. I appreciate the perspective.

how about your opinion in versace crystal noir edp and tom ford noir pour femme? and from 2 of them, which one do you prefer better?

in June I blind bought your favourite fragrance, I didn't fall in love with it though.... but I like it very much for formal ocasions in summer, it's the most expensive perfume in my collection, but still for my weddimg day I should search further...

These are my favorites in ladies: D&G Femme, Narciso R. (white liquid/bottle), Hypnotic Dior, Elie Saab Le Parfume & Lancome La Nuit. Just my opinion.

Hey I found a website where u can get that fragrance from...try www.fragrancenet.com. I order from them like once a year bc I like Elizabeth Taylor's frangraces and they only carry a few where I'm from. They should have what ur looking for on their website 😊

I've never been more convinced of the role of appearance for credibility though. In that one you're wearing a suit and I was subconsciously convinced that you know what you're talking about even before watching the video. Me Shell what does it smell like

I have a question for you. I had a sample of a fragrance I do think it had Victoria Secret on the label, but I just remember it had the words printed Orange blossom Santal... I would wear this scent forever if I could find it. I am very picky about my scents, bc they have to wear well with your chemistry. I would give a finders fee for this scent My favorite everyday scent was discontinued. It was Pleasures Delectable. Got so many compliments, they keep all the fair scents of Pleasures but disc, the best of them. Please getting back to my question, do u have any idea where or what that fragrance can be found or if it is my loss? This smelled like heaven! Thx so much

WE have similar taste in perfume. I don-t like many women-s perfumes although I go nuts for men-s colognes.All the ones that you mentioned that I knew, I like.

+najla khayami If you like angel, you should try the new men's version (yes, the men's version!) of Angel for men called Pure Tonka - they have it at Macy's. Ii thinkl a lot of females will like this fragrance, it is their most unisex offering from the entire amen line! it's beautiful!

I love boyfriend by Kate Walsh! It made me feel mysterious and powerful when I wore it, but yeah not a lot of people liked it.

It's funny, because the women's Light Blue smells like a lot of men's/unisex fragrances like Jardin d'Amalfi by Creed, Soleil di Capri by Montale, and White Pepper Mandarin by Note fragrances. I like the Angel edp though it took me a long time to come around to it. I like the openings to Chergui and Flowerbomb but the drydowns were animalic in a very bad way on me so I had to swap them away.

my fav from bond no.9 are scent of peace, central park west, bleeker st

For some reason J’Adore is overpowering on me like it lasts near 24 hours on my skin.

Oil perfumery has a dupe for the creed I wonder how it compares??

My favorite scent in life was Hollywood Pink by the Mark line from Avon. The perfume is no longer available (broken heart). The scent had a "chocolate" scent as one of the notes. I would appreciate it if you could possibly tell me any perfume that might be close to this. I know it's a very "cheap" perfume compared to the scents you are showing but I would love it if you could make a suggestion that might be close. Thank you!

I love flower bomb but its a bit pricey. My favorite perfume ( Vince Camuto ) is still a little pricey but a cheaper alternative to flower bomb :)

Aquolina Pink Sugar Sparks is very similar, too.

No Ryola Princess Oud by Creed? Oh my...I LOVE this one, and followed my wife around the house when we were packing to move. The smell was in every room, and is HEAVEN in a bottle. Surprised a Victoria Secret bottle ended up on this list, and not even an honorable mention. Lol....further proof that scents are entirely SUBJECTIVE!! Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
