Yeah tbh I went back and forth between my entire top 5. I even had Chris from vendetta at number 2 at one point but thought about it more and moved him down to 5 lol.

Nice to see someone finally agree about RE6 Chris. He was so traumatised by this point that you can't help but sympathise with him, and I love that you get to see a side of him that isn't just a "soldier" or "action hero". Village Chris tried his best but I agree he definitely made some stupid decisions. For example, not telling Ethan about Miranda from the start. Probably would've saved Ethan a lot of time and effort. Great video! 😊

YES! Re6 Chris is so good! I genuinely think Chris and Piers' story is one of the best in RE history and definitely makes up for some of the game's flaws

If they remake re5, I may be straight but I know for a fact they’re gonna make Chris so much hotter

So glad we all agree that Resident Evil: Afterlife Chris Redfield does not exist.

Chris is my favourite character. One reason why I Love RE5 so much.

A funny thing to note is that Heisenberg in re village mentions the boulder punch, this means that Chris punching a massive boulder is still canon and could return for the re5 remake 😂

Wonder if it can set a return up that Wesker never died and was just heavily injured to the point of hiding for the years going by. There’s no way a villain would know about it without ever talking to Chris or Sheva

RE6 Chris had the best development, once I saw the cutscene when Piers sacrificed his life made me cry.

I was really happy with your top two picks. I think what also helped a little with those versions of Chris was Roger Craig Smith's performances. Like I've said before if I had to pick my favorite Chris voice I think Roger has my vote.

Finally someone says the best part of 6. Chris and piers. Their story is one of the best stories in RE. And I agree with all the points for RE6 chris. Remember he became a drunkard due to memory loss. It means if he wasn't fighting to honor his friends, he would drink. A lot.

Mine is code Veronica! Code veronica is where I first saw Chris Redfield. It was way back in 2003 . And I saw what a fighter he is and the same time how sweet he is towards Claire. Code Veronica was a personal story to him and saw him there that most sisters would want to have a brother like him ❤ And the way how he took care of Claire when she was poisoned and how he would do everything for Claire ❤ That's love. I don't know what else you would call that . ❤

Disagree but to each their own. Neither are what I wanted from an RE movie, but at least WTRC didn’t sidelined the main characters from the games and came closer to the source material than Anderson ever did (even though WTRC definitely didn’t get it right either). But that’s just my opinion tbh

For me Resident Evil 5 Chris is the best Chris with RE6 Chris being close second. I mean i like his story presentation in RE6 and it makes sense that events would take toll on his sanity after so many battles and people he lost. He would be my number 1 if it weren't for the fact his story in RE6 could have been better executed imo. Because everything in Resident Evil 6 moves at breakneck speed without giving much time to breathe, we don't delve into Chris's issues as much it should and how he goes from angry, belligerent soldier bent on revenge to more humbler and introspective person is kinda rushed, but that's my opinion. RE5 Chris in my opinion had it best, it was affected by the constant struggles, but his heart was in right place.

I'm still unsure why Chris didn't just tell Ethan that wasn't Mia in the beginning of Village and save everyone so much confusion.

He was unsure if Mother Miranda had infected him with the mold. Ethan already showed odd abilities in RE 7, Biohazad. Those abilities are solidified by Mia, at the end of RE 8, Village, when Chris finds Mia alive and well in a cell after Chris tells Mia Ethan is dead. :)

There's also the Darkside Chronicles version, whom you can only play as if you pick Steve first.

Damnation (which is the only one I actively dislike outside of a really cool looking final act), Vendetta (my favorite CGI film, and Death Island (the most recent that brings 5 video game characters, but primarily focuses on Jill and somewhat Leon)

Nah it’s just the accent he had when he says sorry & a few other moments in the game. I definitely don’t mean anything against it and tbh it’s not really something I hated, just felt weird that his accent changed and he looked younger compared to his original version. That’s all.

I love RE5. Is it the best RE game? No. Does it have flaws? Yes, but I’ve played through the campaign so many times with so many different people, and it was fun each time. The “boulder punching asshole” and the words “Complete…… global ….. saturation” live rent free in my mind.

Y’all sleeping on Wentworth Miller’s Chris. He was the best thing of the whole Anderson series. Every time he was on screen it was like a classic RE cutscene - so much effort and attention to the game versions. He treated the film like the B movie pastiches they were best as. Only downside was he was only in one film.

Tbh I didn’t mind his character that much, but the problem with his character (like with all of Anderson’s portrayals of video game characters) he was sidelined in favor of Alice

Top 10 worst voice acted lines in the Resident Evil series!

I actually kinda liked Welcome to Raccoon City. I liked the Paul WS Anderson movies for their quintessential 2000s action horror, but they weren’t overly faithful to the games. Welcome to Raccoon City was mostly better in that regard aside from some questionable decisions with casting and characterization, Jill and especially Leon being stark examples. Wesker’s characterization was off, but he at least kinda looked the part. Chris, Claire, and Chief Irons were done pretty well, at least in appearance and characterization, if not in relationships. Anderson’s movies actually did Jill, Leon, and Wesker a lot better.

Eh in terms of looking like Chris I felt like Robbie Amell is closer. That being said. wentworth was also near perfect casting for Chris but he was screwed over by Anderson like every other video game character was by getting sidelined in favor of Alice’s character

Also there is a disgusting moment like when he hit the large rock in Weasker fight 😂 At the end, in my opinion Chris RE5 the worst character ever.
