Time Bandits is a top 5 for sure it’s strictly about Time Traveling and special effects hold up today from the early 80”s . One of the most replay value movies ever and it’s not included tells me they didn’t do enough homework here .

I liked both, Time After Time. 1979 and Somewhere In Time 1980. Primer 2004 was fascinating but not easy to understand. Not all great time travel was in the movies, My favorite time travel episodes. of The Twilight Zone was The Odyssey of Flight 33, 1961 , it was a thrill.

Somewhere in Time starring Christopher Reeve is one of my favorite time travel movies.

Just finished predistination.. yeah it's good I figured out the plot when they started time travel something in my head *"this movie is a loop"* halfway through the movie I already knew the fizzle bomber was John then the one shooting him is John but I didn't know that John is Jane this movie is a selfcest what a ride. yea if you think about it ouruburos is a snake eating itself so the movie just portrait that

I approve of number 1. Hard to top it. It had everything. Comedy, paradoxes, lessons, nostalgia. Quintessential time travel movie. Also my favourite movie since I was a child.

The only time machine movie I wanted to see is a character sitting on a time machine traveling in time. Just like the 1960s, 2002 and back to the future. Only those were the best.

Time After Time is never on these lists, but it’s my favorite time travel movie. How could you go wrong with Malcom McDowell as HG Wells pursuing through time David Warner as Jack the Ripper? Not to mention it also features Mary Steenburgen. It’s a excellent movie and deserves more respect than it gets.

Sorry mate have to say it, it's not Marty Fly it's Marty McFly.....I also have to say what a lot of hard work you put into this youtube video and me picking on a small teeny weeny error is childish compared to the work you put into all your videos and so I apologise profusely for my meanness and trivial comment. I simply forgot to mention how much I also loved your picks and honourable mentions they were well researched and well presented. I think you hit the nail on the head in your 10 best time travel movies and your inclusion of honourable mentions meant no one really missed out. Thank you for all the effort you put into your video's and especially for this one.

My favorite is Timescape, 1992. Stars: Jeff Daniels and Ariana Richards. Probably the most realistic depiction of time travel ever.

Lower budget with great storyline, substance are Alistair1918 & A Sound of Thunder. If you like Time Travel movies for reasons other than special effects, please watch these.

One you missed is "Time after time" which I really like. Check it out.

As a sci-fi nerd, I would definitely include 'Star Trek 4: The Journey Home'. Also, glad you included 'About Tim'e. It's a sweet, beautiful, heartbreaking film that deserves more love!

This is next-level material. A book with similar topics was a quantum leap in my understanding. "Temporal Echoes: Amelia's Odyssey Through Ancestral Shadows" by Vivian Rosewood

You missed a gem... Disaster In Time.

Good selection. "Predestination" is fantastic. "Triangle" should have been included (to add a super horror movie to the mix). And "Primer" is an almost unforgivable omission.

Bttf is the best of all time. It’s more than a movie.

I do agree that Back To The Future is the best time travel movie/series of all time. But please, do include the 1980 film, The Final Countdown, in the list. I do believe that for our generation, it is among the best and earliest time travel movies ever made.

Tenet - Not having it even as an honorable mention is a crime. Also has one of coolest ways of achieving time travel in all of cinema if you ask me.

I agree with some of the comments… Somewhere in Time is the tops for me. A haunting time travel story with a wonderful soundtrack. I suppose with such a great choice it should have been a top twenty…

Rare and hard to find but....41 from 2012 - Australia indie film is one of the best TT movies of all-time...and I know...I'm from the future!

Midnight in Paris will always have my heart for soooooo many reasons!!!

Outlander is one of my favourite TV series of absolutely every series I have seen in my life. Though there are other great series like Oz(the prison one), SOA and Breaking bad, Handmaid's tale and must not forget the first seasons of Game Of Thrones plus plenty of more, Outlander is definitely in the top five for me. I like many many series, but only a few I have watched several times and still find something new in them every time. I have not watched the latest season yet because I like to watch Outlander as a marathon and knit or draw while doing it. I have done this with the last three seasons. I watch all episodes and barely sleep in between. It takes time but I think it's worth it for me and I need to be prepared to spend so many hours in a row. I like the books even more but they really made the show great too, love Sam and Caitriona.

Apart from Somewhere in Time, which is both a Chick Flick and a Guy Flick, and one of my favs, I have to mention 41, a British indy film that is really sweet, full of heart, and requires close proximity to a box of tissue.

What about "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home", about going back in time to save the Earth from it's own blind greed or "Timerider", about a man that goes back in time and becomes his own great, great, grandfather.

Belinda Bauer costar of Timerider was also in an alien flick I love from 1985 called Starstruck. A young James Spader is the costar in that one. Check it out if you get the chance, IMO you won't regret it.
