Hands down, the best outfit reveal of all time on a tv show -- November 13, 1976, The Carol Burnett Show (Episode 10.8; "Went with the Wind") - the Miss Starlett green dress with golden embroidery, gold tassels for a hat, and a matching curtain rod. "I saw it in a window and couldn't resist." The outfit now hangs in the Smithsonian Institute.

As soon as I clicked on this, I knew Claire's dress was going to be #1. Not only is the dress radiant, but Jamie and Claire also do much justice to the scene ❤

Wednesday's dress was my favorite outfit of her , it's totally Wednesday's personality , everyone there knew she looked good

Of all the outfits on Friends.....that's mint green dress wasn't the best. It was gorgeous sure. But the best and most underrated dress reveal on that show was Phoebe's wedding dress.

I'm kind of surprised not one spot has a Marvelous Mrs Maisel dress/outfit. The clothes that woman wears are colorful, classic and incredibly flattering on her!!!

Anne With an E: Anne's first dress with the puff sleeves she always wanted. Or the deep blue one she wore at the end. Both dresses were made with a lot of love.

I loved Elean Gilbert's black and gold ballgown in the Vampire Diaries.

Yennefer and Wednesday looked so beautiful; dark and mysterious and mystifying. I envy their beauty.

Fairly sure this isn’t on here, but one of my personal faves is when the doors open to the bar and Din swaggers in wearing his new armor and everyone’s staring. It’s sexy and bad ass as hell and he definitely knows he looks good. Though Yen’s entrance is amazing too.

I was hoping Outlander would be on this list, I was just anticipating Claire’s red dress from season 2. But her wedding dress is just as stunning!

Claire's dress was amazing, but give Jamie's reveal in that scene some credit too! It's the first time we see him in Fraser tartan and dang he's a snack 👀

I loved Edith Crawley's wedding dress (her second) better then Mary's. At the end of Downton Abbey Edith had really evolved from the overlooked middle-child to a strong fashionable women and her dress showed that.

Reign- pretty much all Queen Mary’s dresses. Historically accurate maybe not but stunning ABSOLUTELY! Also I think Clare Fraser’s Red dress in Paris just pips her wedding dress.

It had to be Claire's wedding dress, I couldn't imagine anything more spectacular than that, especially with the sun coming out, it looked like it was from another world after all those darker wool dresses she wore.

Yes, Claire’s wedding dress was breathtaking!!! I would have also mentioned the gorgeous red dress she wore to be presented at the French Court of Louis XV-it was a true masterpiece!

I would have gone with Sansa’s later dresses, the blue wolf dress, her black-blue fish scale dress or even her coronation gown. The Alayne Stone look was just a miss, this is supposed to be a character that fades into the background, a bastard daughter who was training to be a septa as her background goes would not be wearing such a revealing gown.

Um no. How can you make a list like this without including Mrs. Russell's red dress and cape reveal in The Guilded Age?? Or season 3 of Westworld, where Delores walks into the party in a short black cocktail dress, pulls down a built-in pouch in the front, and it turns into a GORGEOUS long gold gown.

I disagree. The ultimate outfit is by far Moira Rose from Schitt's Creek putting on her dress she bought for the premiere of The Crows Have Eyes 3 for the first time. It is one of the most heartbreaking scenes and shows just how much she's grown as a character. She realizes that her family can't afford it and immediately returns it after one try on. Also, the reveal of the Moira Pope outfit. That was definitely one of the best costumes I have ever seen.
