Because of the sound frequency so when Eddie goes to the neighbor he, tells him to please turn it down because he has has a shitty day and. The neighbor says whatever dude and then Venom makes his presence, known when Eddie’s eyes and face start looking like Venom.

I don't think the critics knew the source material very well. Yes, it might not have Spider-Man, but it's still less of a departure than most Marvel movies , not that this Marvel movies are bad

But I'll give you this, Tom Hardy's acting was awesome, the action and cgi was really good, it waa fairly funny without trying too hard. This movie wasnt too good because its flaws stick out too much but its defiantly entertaing as hell. :)
