afk journey in the past week has been seeing massive complaints with the announcement of the newest hero being a celestial which means normal players can't even summon for her even with literal hundreds of dollars of in gam currency saved up, the fact that we haven't gotten a good rate up banner in 2 months current story was done for most within 2 weeks and the current content to do from the clans and world boss are soooo overleveled its like they had no actual plan for this season after the story content.

Astra is such a wasted potential. The main story is AMAZING, but devs really should've prepared more content before releasing this thing. Also, they keep shitting PVP content NO ONE WANTS instead of focusing in PVE.

It has been out for about three months, and it already has had two new PvP modes added, that are clearly designed around rewards for the free to play, and light spender players to grind out, while they serve as food for the whales, so they can feel good about spending money. Once it became clear to me that they wanted everyone in PvP, I checked out.

My man FG! Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE your new presentation / recording format! It's so fun and dynamic and charming! It's not just some dude sitting in his computer chair. This new format is so refreshing. Hope you keep it up!

Currently playing Wuwa and have been enjoying it. Also playing Snowbreak (Not released in 2024 so not in the list, but it's almost anniversary so check it out) and that's been fun. But these 2 games I'm not hardcore no-life playing, so I have plenty of time left to play a 3rd game. Out of all the games on this list, I'm probably gonna check out Astra first since it looked liked Dragon's Crown, then Solo-Leveling then if all else fails AFK Journey. AFK Journey is last on the list since I've been reading negative comments about it about the current state of the game so I'mma give them time to cook.

While I guess there are some that really like ASTRA, many don't, even if they stuck with it longer than it deserved, like me. It just seems to have been busy bleeding players since launch, and I don't see that changing. It started with an ample number of issues, and they did make a big show of trying to fix some of them, but they never really understood what was wrong with the combat, and end game experience, or figured fixing it was just too difficult, so I can't bring myself to recommend this to anyone, and don't see it holding out too well. For instance, Alchemy Stars is a game people have been predicting will shut down any time now for years, and was released about three years ago now, that still has about twice as much community interaction in its social media channels than ASTRA, which is only about three months old. This is all made worse as their marketing, is about as bad as it could be. During the beta, they seemed to mainly advertise to PC players, many of whom hate mobile games, gacha games, and other things found in ASTRA. Then around launch, they seemed to just pump out all sorts of videos, and such, that largely would have only been seen by those already following the game.

it came out in Dec 2023 for global, it missed the 2024 cut bro !

I think dmc shouldn’t have gotten greedy. They should have made a unique premium title and sure it wouldn’t have the potential a f2p game would have $$ wise HOWEVER the fan base might have given it a chance. They landed themselves in a place where their community doesn’t want it and neither does the f2p community lol.

Guardian tales and PGR(kuro's other game) should replace the 10th and 9th spot tbh. Pgr does the combat genre better than peak of combat imo and is way better when it comes to the gacha part, it also has a really good story especially once you get past half of the current storyline. And Guardian tales is one of the best I've played, its story is arguably one of the best in any rpg although its gameplay is simple there are alot of nice mechanics and things that help set it apart, plus it also has a really nice style...

I just can't enjoy it because its 80% genshin copy paste and I really had enough of it. But the designs are great... Solo Leveling was good but needs too much time & QoL locked behind $. Would like to find some new mobile games but idk just nothing good (imo).

This year is tears held back. Great visuals marred by one thing or another. I bought a new phone, pick a genre, hope for the best. I chose Wuthering Waves. There was one thing I loved about ToF, which was build your anime character. But when the characters in Waves or Genshin are so awesome, it doesn't matter.

Tarisland is great since it's F2P , not horribly P2W, not full auto-play, and on Mobile. Running dungeons with other players is pretty darn fun.

Sry FG, but Solo Leveling Arise shouldnt even be on this list because of QOL being paywalled. That is legit the main reason why uninstalled game and I am sure that many others share my opinion. Losing 1 hour and more to do the dailies? No thanks, that is cardinal sin for any game imho. I would rather not waste that much time on a daily basis just for dailies on a repetitive gacha game. And I am saying this as Solo Leveling fan. And with WuWa being such amazing game there is literally 0 reason for anyone to go back to it.
