lithium is buggy with other mods, ferritecore does next to nothing, lazydfu only affects startup speed, fps reducer isn't helpful If you play vanilla, use lithium with stutterfix

I get 10-20 FPS (1.18.2) on Sodium and 50-100fps on optifine (only optifine)... I'm still on 1.18 cz daym man I don't think I'll be able to even load Minecraft on any other version above

I also want to mention "Distant Horizons", a mod I actually love bc it adds LODs to minecraft

There is a few mods u forgot: Smooth Boot - optimizes GPU; More Culling - adds more culling options; c²me - optimizes chuncks; Enchansed Block Entities - makes block entities become regular blocks; Krypton - server side optimization. All mods from this video, except Memory Leak Fix cuz it's doesnt do anything, and from my comment are included in modpack called Simply Optimized

I have a Ryzen 5 5600G, and RX 6600XT, and i had like 200 fps, and when i installed not all but most of these mods and others mods, i got 900fps, with shaders i have stable 350fps (MakeUp shader) in 1080 i have a 240hz monitor for it, so it feels smoooooooth.

i tryied sodiun but it was a disappointment on my laptop, not only i barely got any fps boost but i also had some hard lag spikes every 10 seconds that made it unplayable (i didnt have those lag spikes without it and with optifine i always have solid 60fps)

My PC can handle everything I throw at it, without issue. Switching to another GPU would also mean I need a CPU upgrade. For that, I would also have to swap my motherboard. So essentially, I’m better off buying a new PC at that point. I’m good 🤣

Try ModernFix and see. You can expect to reduce the amount of RAM used and startup time.

​​@@sirpoofus7823Bro, the ryzen 9 series is not made for gaming, you literally have a bad processor, you should buy a ryzen 5 5500 or 5 5600 which is made for gaming and superior to most processors. An RTX too, even though it's amazing and great, AMD's rx 6600 is superior in performance. Another problem is that you're using a lap top, a gaming lap top is like a scam, it doesn't give you better performance than a gaming PC. If you can afford it, buy a PC with these parts as standard: Motherboard: B550 Video card: RX 6600 Processor: Ryzen 5 5600

I have the same issues on a Ryzen 5 5700, RTX 3060. :/ If you want my personal opinion, Minecraft is just randomly really bad on some computers and really good on other ones, even if the specs are lower, the same, or higher. You essentially roll a dice and we both rolled like 2.

I would recommend not setting your MC to unlimited fps but to a fixed amount. Like 60fps for example. If you range from 80 to 250, that would give you a nice experience

Disable Phosphor and use starlight because starlight ist a much better light optimation mod

Phosphor has always been incompatible with Starlight. So just use one of them. If you´re on 1.20.x you don´t need it at all

Something hardly anyone talks about and/or considers is that though the game may be rendering 1000+ FPS your monitor might only be chugging along at 60 FPS :( Additionally the average human eye isn't really capable of seeing/detecting differences once you get above 60~90 FPS so anything above what a standard gaming monitor can provide (e.g. 140 FPS) is definitely providing diminishing returns :( Bottom line is YES I want the game optimized and running as fast as possible (the faster it runs the more it can do), but us humans are not capable of seeing/detecting (with our eyes) differences between 100 FPS and 1000+ FPS so all these FPS boosts really do is give you bragging rights ;)

I can now render 32 chunks with 40 fps and 24 with 60 and quiet fans. I wanted to download 8 of the mods but 3 didn't work because of stuff I had to do to get around school software restrictions.

Unfortunately for me, my fps before installing sodium was 2

So I've literally done everything there is to speed up Minecraft. I've installed optifine, sodium, lithium, starlight, phosphorus, immediately fast, you name it, I got it, yet my Minecraft still runs at less than 30 fps. Don't use optifine with sodium, startlight and phosphorus don't run together so need to delete one of them. Also some performance mods may decrease fps for some people idk why it happens many times like randomly so keep removing a mod then adding and removing another to see which is decreasing your fps

Well, after you download all of them, you have to press Windows+R on your keyboard and type in the bar that appears "%appdata%, afterwards, you go to the minecraft folder, and then the mods folder, where you insert the mods you downloaded. Then, you go into your launcher, and in the versions tab, you search for a version that stands out. Enter the game with that version, and the mods should be active.

Are we able to combine these mods to get even more fps?

Nvidium doesn't improve fps it just renders terrain further with less of a performance impact.
