Robby Bobby That's why the second game was my fave. You had a larger number of squadmates and a larger variety of species. ME3 fucked that up, although having Liara and EDI was nice and of course Garrus and Tali was always there.

Agreed. Garrus, Tali, and Liara are always great squadmates. And EDI was a great addition. Hell, even Javik was fun to talk to since he was biggest troll of the galaxy. But yeah, having every ME2 squadmate not being there for various "cause..... reasons" really annoyed me. Not saying all of them should've been back as squadmates, but it would've been nice to have at least two or three of them. Maybe it would've been cool if we had a choice in the matter. Oh well!

No, if you play Andromeda enough the only character you'll really grow to dislike is Liam, and that's only because he's Jacob 2.0. Drack is basically Mass Effect's Old Man Logan, the Old Man Krogan. Jaal is Javik without the superiority complex or the ability to know your life story by touching you. Vetra is, really female Garrus is the best way to describe her. Peebee is a barrel of fun to be around, so much more excited and exciting that all the other asari. I could go on.

Well ive just finished playing the game today, knocked up just under 30 hours of gameplay since release. And ive got to say ALL of the characters are equally unlikable. They all start off absolutely hating your character for little reason, and after they get over being A holes about 15 hours into the game, They still all hate each other or simply dont care about any one else. Ive never played on a mass effect game where ive detested or simply not cared about all of the characters. Everyone on the Nexus hates you, all your followers hate you, in the end i simply didn't care what happened to them. The game turns out to be a total railroad anyway, the only reason im buying the DLC when it comes out is because of what that woman tells you in the epilogue room, which is spoilers so i wont mention it unless asked lol.

Mordin didn’t alter the Genophage to ensure the Krogan Race would eventually die out, he did it to level their population. He pointed out several times if he made mistakes it could cause them to be extinct. Something he worked hard to avoid.

Mordin never wanted the krogan to die out. He explains in ME2 that the genophage modification was necessary to prevent galaxy-wide war that's bad for everyone, including the krogan.

There are so many characters you didnt mention that deserves to be remembered. Ashley/Kaidan, Aria T'Loak, Samara, Javik (even if he is only a dlc character), even Kasumi! Kasumi was one of my favorites in me2.

Thane in honorable mentions, shame!

Wow no love for Jack. whatever she's number 2 on my list. Liara will always be number one though for me.

Best series in gaming and entertainment.. I loved Liara and Tali the most! Love Interest with Liara through ME1-3&DLC's and Tali on second playthrough. Faithfull to both characters throughout the trilogy.

Jack is my number 1 for romance in any game the rawness and emotion in me2 then again in 3 even with her very very limited screen time was amazing...people just be way too judgy but I'm fine with that cause hidden gems like her are for people who can truly appreciate real depth in a character!

Damn right on numbers 1 and 3, Male Sheppard with Tali as love interest and Garrus as ultimate bro worked perfectly since they were the only 2 squadmates playable throughout the entire trilogy.

Can we talk about our other favorite juggernaut, G R U N T ? EDIT: My top three is Tali, Garrus, and Grunt. I love the trio, so lovable

actually during mass effect 3 it is possible to keep tali from committing suicide and legion from sacrifice himself you still get the benefits of both quarian and geth but they will also be alive. the hard part is to do it you have to have a very high paragon for tali and legion to do that you have to use save data from mass effect 2 and 1 that has high paragon with both teammates and it unlocks dialogue option that will save them both and it ends with the geth and quarians becoming alliance that rebuilds there homeworld and happy ever after for both quarian and geth.

Number 1: Marauder Shield. So charismatic, Epic final boss battle.

Garus and wrex are my two favorite I always took them for my team. Garus was the more level headed moral compass and wrex reinforced those times when the wrong choice morally was the right choice in the big picture. I always thought if I were actually shepherd in real life those 2 would be the ones I always lean on to keep me balanced

Well another point for Tali is that she is the only love interest who actually says the words "I love you" if my memory serves me well

Altough Jack doesn't say it, as far as I remember, she cracks when she contemplates the possibility of Shepard dying after she made him a tatoo and is on the verge of tears. That is very emotional to me, considering that it's very difficult for Jack to express her emotions.

***** Define good ending. Every one has it's up and downs. Destroy ending: Ups: The Reapers are no more. The Galaxy repairs itself. Shepard survives. The survivors work together. Downs:The Geth and EDI die. Possible future war with other synthetics if organics didn't learn from their mistakes. Control ending: Ups: The Geth and Edi live. The Reapers help repair the galaxy and stay as their protectors. Downs: The AI that controls them isn't Shepard. There is a possibility that it will lose it's mind like the original did snd restart the war. Synthesis: Ups:There is no possibility of war between synthetics and organics. The Reapers share all their knowledge. Inmortality? Downs: There is no more diversity on the universe. You force that change on everyone. Are the husks and Banshees and the rest also alive? Inmortality? Is it a good thing? Personally, Destroy is the only thing that ends the reaper threat and keeps the galaxy mostly intact. Shepard surviving on it is also a nice bonus.

Its been 5 years. Iv'e played hundreds of games, watched dozens of anime since then... And to this day Liara is still my one and only waifu

Damn, now I want to play Mass Effect again... probably the one of those things I wish I could completely forget just so I could experience it for the first time again.... Ah I still remember the day I fell in love with it. July 2008. I haven't heard anything about this game's development. I was reading a gamer magazine that I was subscribing to at that time, and found a 4 page article about how amazing this game was. Looked up the game catalogue at the end of the magazine to find to my greatest surprise that it was sold for about half the price of a regular AAA games back then. The very next morning I took the tram to the nearest game shop, bought it, and I played until 3 in the morning.

Personally, I liked Samara a lot. Maggie Baird did a superb job bringing a rather thankless, undistinguished part to life, and I wished there was more of her in ME3.

My best characters in game: 1) Tali Zorah Best character is Tali Zorah.. cuteness,beauty,personality,voice and hips... Every time i play Mass Effect,I romance her. If Tali will be in real life,or it would be girl in real life exacly like tali, it will be my crush and girlfriend. 2) Garrus Vakarian Tali is best girlfriend and Garrus is best friend,mate and brother, he is very nice in fight with you and he is best Shepards friend in game. This turian is legend. 3) Joker Next big friend of Shepard. He has humor and he is funny. Proffesional pilot. No matter what,this guy is true funny guy and friend. 4) Liara T Soni In my option, if not tali for romance, then Liara. She has nice personality,chill quiet voice, and in my option nice face beauty. Best asari in game. 5) Captain Anderson Most people have him in top 3. I have him on 5. place,but this is still very nice character. For Shepard he is like father,he is kind and full of good honor. Very nice person. 6) Ashley Williams In ME1 it was my best character and i wanted to romance her best way i could. But in ME2 she dissapointed me. I loved her still, and i was happy when i will see her again. But she was only once in ME2 and that time she said to me that i am traitor,asshole etc etc. She came back as potentional romance in ME3, but that time i wanted only Tali. Otherwise, Ash have nice body,she is kinda beautiful and have pro skills with guns. For me its very good potencional romance after Tali or Liara. 7) Miranda Lawson From beggining at ME2 she was bitch,but in time she will be fine girl. She has pretty good face and maan look at that ass... for me she is really good romance person in game,but horrible at battlefield.. 8) Grunt Strong,nicely aggresive and really good fighter. This krogan has his own flow and he doesnt need any teachers how to fight. 9) James Im not sure right now if its name correct,but i mean that black guy from ME2 at very beggining. He has very nice personality and he is really good soldier. 10) Mordin He has quite ADHD and Hyperactivity,but its very funny character. Really skilled medic. Im proud of him to cure genophage. Other characters like Wrex,That black strong guy from Shuttle Bay or other crew members may be good as well,but these are for me most important. I was way behind in my gaming so I only played the trilogy for the first time in January this year. I finished it in 2 months binge playing and then started a new campaign literally a week later. I love it that much.

Great to see some love for Saren, he was an awesome villain.

Thane Krios was a badass character with a touching story. The greatest assassin in the Mass Effect universe.

I knew Garrus would be 1st ^^ He's seriously the best.

Lone Wolf Liara is far from obnoxious, she's by far the most humble character in the trilogy. She's the very opposite of obnoxious.

I FUCKIN KNEW GARRUS WOULD BE NUMBER. Him and Wrex are my favorite companions. Not only is he alongside Tali, with you through all three games, he really grows the most as a person thanks to Shepard. He learns, greater responsibility, leadership skills, and mercy. Just an amazing character.

As a massive Mass Effect fan I was shocked when I found this in my continue watching playlist after years and clicked on it only to be reminded as to why as it picked up where I hastily turned it off right where they tried to convince me Saren deserves a spot in even the top 20

Could have honestly made it a top 20 list with mass effect

Kasumi was Bae. Had the best Loyalty mission too

Garrus was always going to be #1. No question. The rest of the list is ok. Arguable for sure, but not bad. I'd have put Tali at #2. Grunt is missing from this list.

Goddamnit, now I have to play Mass Effect again...

I love almost every mass effect character even the side ones. Everyone's really written well

Sheppard = asteroid into star system. Besides, Tali had a logical reason to want to get rid off the geth. It was legion that helped her accept them.

Tali didn't actually destroy the Geth. She just was trying to persuade you into doing it. Also, she eventually sees the error of her ways.

I'm just happy she got Top 3. Pleasantly surprised honestly. I thought they'd jump on the "blue rules" bandwagon and fanboy/girl all over Liara. Glad they didn't. She's honestly not that great a character in my opinion.

***** yeah, same here. Never been an Asari fan myself. Ever since I started playing Mass Effect last year, I've fallen in love with Tali. Sad there aren't any Quarians in Andromeda from what I can see.
