17:10, Nice I guess, but when I have to change lighter because the gas runs out? How do you transfer this invention to the new lighter? Maybe an idea is to use a rechargeable lighter? As it doesn’t seem like you did.

Actually shouldn't make a difference with devices like a phone charger. For some devices you can't just exchange it to DC but the rectifier in the wall adapter of a phone charger just becomes obsolete if you run it on DC directly but in functionality there's no difference. Especially as most of these chargers use full bridge rectifiers to convert the whole sine wave to DC anyway so there's no real change to the components after it.

1:27 This makes absolutley sense. Instead of charging the Phone directly with only one 9 V batterie, i put 24 of them togehter to get 220V, put in a power adapter to get 5 V out of a USB cable and wondering why it will not charge. As you see you need AC Power like many other electrical appliances. Batteries deliver DC power.

The first one can be deadly. More than 50 mA running through your body is enough to kill you. A 9 V battery can easily deliver 50 mA current, when short-circuted, it will deliver up to 5 A before it dies. The reason why you are normally save is that 9 V is too little to create 50 mA current through a human body. If your hands are wet, the resistance from one hand to the other one is a bit above 1000 Ohm. Current is I = U / R, you need at least 50 V to get 50 mA current flowing through your body. Your battery pack is well over that limit. Touching both ends with wet hands can easily kill you.

wow! you turned the mountain bicycle into makeshift motorcycle! i like to do it also, but i,m using 10 motors: nine of them use pulley, but the rest one uses gear. i connect it by using ‘belt’ to ‘pulley’, and “chain” to “gear”. why 10? to make it more ‘better’ and “faster” than you want! for additional safety: i,m going to add training wheels in front and back so i don,t be down when starting!

The battery hack with 24 9vdc batteries is flawed. You show 24 x 9 vdc = 216 vdc, then you connect an AC plug to it. Good way to screw up electronics, mixing AC and DC. Especially when you take a 110vac usb adapter and connect it to an electronic device that requires 5-9 vdc.

To be honest with you that motors are not powerful enough to pull weight why do you think there is no successful consumer version of electric bikes. He rode that bike on a downhill ,it will struggle to pull your weight on even a slight uphill .I am not talking shit ,it is a cool thing to try as project but i wouldn't consider is as a LIFE HACK

yea :D :D :D dont please dont try this thing with the batteries, you will need DC to AC invertor and the batteries will die even on 30-40 % powering your phone it is a waste of money no way 800-900 mAh batteries in series all of them are 800-900 mAh will charge battery around 2000 mAh or 3000mAh like the one in a phone, and dont forget the DC-AC convertor is around 80-85% efficient so you have around 15-20% losses so good luck :D and the charger too is not 100% efficient losses in the charger too so :D
