I absolutely love her mannerisms, even when she's just standing there. She has a rare magic. I fell in love before she sang a note. The voice just cemented the deal. She has that something special.

That night has not been repeated, it was incredible how she sang. And I think no one has sung that song like Alice Fredenham in that BGT audition, it was April 2013, there were 7 days left until my birthday and I hallucinated that TV had given me a muse as a gift, wherever Alice is I still dream when I remember her voice. She is Unforgettable,

Amazing Alice was just turned down by the voice, but I bet it was that heartbreak that put her whole heart into this performance, she put so much into this and it grabbed so many hearts, absolutely love her.

At the 2:03 mark when Alice hits the higher pitch at 'smile' and Simon looks up, you know he just heard something special and it got his attention. My God she can SING! Magnificent.

Alice, the first singer, brought a few tears to my eyes. She is gorgeous, has a golden voice (like they said), and is refreshingly humble. I thought I was watching a movie.

It’s because she was on the voice first and didn’t make it. But the show delayed airing till after this. Made it look like she didn’t have stage fright. Was a big thing. She was so scared and nervous from what happened on the voice and people took it as she was faking it. But if I was denied on voice and went to agt I would want to go alone and would be scared poopless.

Alice is the best out of All of them . She is the first female singer that gave me goosebumps. Her performance was mesmerising by her sultry a seductive way that put me in a trance that ended with me falling in love with her

Owen has genuine musical talent and sings with a lot of soul. Being constantly berated by arrogant judges for three minutes in front of the world was inappropriate and demeaning to a guy who survives around the world with his talent. Real talent.

YES - Alice is amazingly stunning, however, so FEW comments about this Owen who was PROVOKED by the judges, and their blatant PRIDE, and yes, OWEN should maybe have just remained composed, however ....HEY ! !, Even I was feeling eruptive, ready to explode on those judges too, and poor Owen, caught off guard, like "what?", just said what he was feeling, what he was thinking. Uh, yeah, obviously a mistake, they are HOLIER THAN THOU ART Owen ... that is breaking the laws of all The Entertainment Gods doncha kno ??? (yes, read with a tinge of sarcasm) Even my wife and I saw it differently, we were compelled to rewind and play it through again. "What?" Yup, the audience was divided too. Are you kidding me? Hmmph !!! Heck no, it was very clear, poor 'ol prideful judges were stood up to. Meh, Owen suffered the wrath of consequence. Judge the Judges? Nope, you had better not ! ! !

Kevin singing If Tomorrow Never Comes after being basically laughed at, was easily the most emotional, powerful and beautiful performances I have ever seen. The man sang from deep inside his heart. Listen to all the other artists who have sung this song including Garth Brooks, and what is missing is the emotional power this man put into that song. Just look at how moved and captivated the audience was listening to him sing that song.

When she appeared on The Voice UK she came in full of piss and vinegar, self-confidence (or fake self-confidence) radiated out of her. Her singing wasn't bad but not nearly as inspired as this performance. Anyway, as mentioned no one turned and I think her confidence tanked for awhile. Her next performance she didn't seem quite so demure.

Carmen I agree with you on this. Singing from a night club in the 20s and 30s late at night around 2am or 3am is a perfect time to sing these types of songs. In her quarter finals and semi finals she did just that, singing songs in this era.

Calum Scott can't be real!! Wow, he is amazing. His audition is breath taking

PS: speaking about Alice: In front of an audience of hundreds of people, you just know everyone knows there is something truly special and genuine about a performance that makes it so nobody makes a sound for minutes on end and then when the performance ends it's overwhelmingly loud. This is up there amongst the best performances ever seen - time stopped whilst she was performing. Absolutely captivating. This is the definition of "world class" indeed, imho. Actually the "silence in the audience" thing is a pattern in all this, right? Lovely heartfelt stuff, imho. Even Simon said it. I remember as a child in my own little local community - this is not in the US (if you can believe such things to be possible) there was a girl one time who sang a traditional fado Portuguese song, I was like 8y old I kind of did not understand all the meaning and the words of it, but now I'm 39 and I know I never forgot about it... These performances are like that.

there is something about this girl that sings happy valentine,, almost magical, i would not doubt if one day i ll see her in a movie, as soonest she start singing she becomes another person, she goes to another realm or dimension,,, and those are the ones that have the real talent.. and she is beautiful!!!!!!!!

I do the same, I also look for Alice's video and fall in love with her again and again she's truly amazing.

I have listened to Alice over and over. it is without question the most honest and beautiful voice I have heard. someone record her and let the masses partake in her liquid gold. A lovely moment on this show.

I should put together my own Top 10 Playlist, If I do then Alice FREDENHAM would be in there at the top of the list. I thought she deserved a Golden Buzzer. A truly mesmerising experience

when i saw the second act (the guy who said he was a chicken catcher) it made me so ashame of America. Even the crowd laughed at him for making honest money. Half of the crowd was probably unemployed, and on top of that he was amazing.

I can't believe how many comments I scrolled thru to find yours calling that out. Shame on everyone laughing at Kevin Skinner for making an honest living. I felt awful hearing that. I work in tech and don't eat meat but I still don't see how anyone could treat other humans that way. I cringed when the audience laughed at his job and then continued to laugh when he admit being bad at math. Sharon straight up laughing at his accent made me sad too. Why act like that to other people? They all acted like it was okay because the judges praised him after hearing him sing, but it just wasn't right in the first place and makes me feel bad for the countless others who didn't make the cut and were laughed both onto and off stage. :( Very disappointed to see that side of our society situated in one room like that and poor attitude from the judges and/or producers.

Listening to Alice make me truly know love exist

I know it was a matter of how the guy deals with extreme nervousness. He was deflecting with a little sarcasm and if the judges would've rolled with it, his relaxed personality would probably pushed thru.

Absolutely fabulous. I’ll always wonder why this beautiful talented girl couldn’t see the talent God gave her. I would give my right and left arm to be as gorgeous and talented as she is. How in the world can someone so talented and beautiful not see this? I’ll never know. Bravissima, Alice!!!

More like the 30s - 40s torch singers... This song was written in late 30s The 20s singing style was quite different

Alice was AWESOME!!! She selected the PERFECT SONG to showcase her voice. Even though she was quite nervous and very casually dressed, her rendition of Funny Valentine transported the audience back to the era of sultry singers like Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, etc. The only thing missing was a long, sequined, slinky dress, with a flower in her hair. 🎹🎼🎵🎶😘

Alice Fredenham. Watching this 5 years on, I don't watch TV and I have no Idea how far she went but this was pure Heaven.

Alice seriously broke my heart. Hands down the most beautiful voice i have ever heard. Moved me to tears!
