For Ava Gardner, The Barefoot Contessa was her most heraled role, but is hardly a Noir. Scenes from The Bribe with Robert Taylor, or even East Side, Westside with James Mason an Barbara Stanwyck would have been a better pairing with The Killers in this genre

"Black". Signifying dark. They usually include a Femme fatale, a anti-hero protagonist, corrupt characters, and villains who are Detectives. Cops. Gangsters.

Where is the real noir lady….Liza the Scott Gloria Grahame….Ann savage…..turner Tierney and Hayworth do not belong there
