You should have added GWG 100 Mud master. It is tough and solar powered. It looks similar to the GG 1000 Mudmaster

We didn't include it in our list because we wanted to feature different models and styles of G-Shock watches, not just variations of the same one. We also think that the GG 1000 Mudmaster has some advantages over the GWG 100 Mudmaster, such as the analog-digital display, the twin sensor, and the lower price. Mudmaster over Rangeman any day. One is worn by ppl who appreciate good quality watches, the other is worn by those who can't afford premium Master of G watches, but still pretend that it's the best.

I've had both at the same time, and I would say my opinion is totally different. I sold both few months ago, and there are couple of reasons why I'm leaning more towards the GW-9400, and bought it for the second time. The GWG-1000 is definitely a great G Shock but it lacks a number of function that the Rangeman GW-9400 has; 1. Instant stopwatch button without having to go to the stopwatch mode; believe it's super useful when you think it's not. 2. Stopwatch up to 1,000 hours. Who needs that? Well, people who needs to time things and need more time range than what the GWG-1000 could offer (24 hours :cough:). The countdown timer on the GW-9400 offers even longer time range (24 hours) than the GWG-1000 (60 minutes) 3. Sunset/Sunrise time 4. A "print screen" function up to 40 data log. When I used the GWG-1000, most of the time it felt like those "hey I have one, I can afford one" feelings rather than really taking advantages of the functions. The GW-9400 might sound a like a peasant watch to some people, but the functionality it offers just left the GWG-1000 in the dust. Sure, it's cool to have that seconds hand moving around when you use the compass - a fun party trick, but having lost to a 'pretentious' G-Shock like the GW-9400, don't you think it's like having a bus with an engine of a minivan?

Are you talking about Rangeman gw 9400 or The real Rangeman gpr-b1000? The second one has all The features than The mudmaster and much more. It is at least as durable than The mudmaster and also more expensive

Videos like this are worthless for determining which watch is what you want. It does not compare features between the watches in specific detail. Price is certainly a factor and there is no price comparison.
