Hello. can you do a paid video promotion for us? I and sent an email already
Great list Brandon. Thanks!
That is a very solid list.
I'd add Brookfield, literally any one of their subsidiaries particularly BAM or BIP. Missing some industrials/specialty retail, renewables and grocers too. Add Hardwood Distributions, Magna or Canadian Tire; Algonquin Power or BEP; and Metro or Empire.
Excellent information.
I like your list
Have all but TD, CU, ATD. Would add CNQ, TC, and SU, not necessarily in the order.
Great list. I currently hold all but 2 stocks. I agree 100% with your choices and rationale
Check out Northland power and exchange income coporation they are great too.
POW ahead of the big banks? Other than that...I agree with your list.
Hello Brandon, great content as usual. As a new investor, would only holding these 10 stocks be enough diversification?
Got them all 😊
Hey Brandon, please do a video about utilities stocks that are crashing like CPX, AQN, FTS, CU... Are they good buying opportunities?
Can’t go wrong with any of those blue chip plays Brandon. Only one I would add Is Canadian Pacific Railway. My dad worked for them back in the 80’s. In the last say ten years, the stock price has gone 5x and with the purchase of KCS, I think this will be a wonderful stock going forward. Thanks for this great Can div list.
I love all of these companies. I really respect the balance most of these companies have which brings a lot of stability and safety to these picks.
For dividend growth I like GSY
Do a video about how the market is tanking and how're navigating it.
Happy Thanksgiving
Great list Brandon, I think BIP could also be part of it.
Always a great time to double down on value stocks and dividend investments, especially now while the market is in a total state of flux...
Please make on long term investment top 10 stocks.
I keep forgetting about Fortis. Seems like it's at good price right now
I love parkland fuels pki monthly dividend
Hi Brandon have you done any videos on GIC's how to purchase through Questrade what they are etc.... Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs) and term deposits are secured investments. This means that you get back the amount you invest at the end of your term. The key difference between a GIC and a term deposit is the length of the term. Term deposits generally have shorter terms than GICs Thanks much
I recommend doing a video strictly on stocks that are both growth and dividends (US and CAD).
How much should you buy in shares in order to see dividend?
you should do a video about stocks with super high yields like 9% + your favourites and reason to or not to invest in them
I hope i will learn how to do it.
I imagine most or all of each companies are included in a Canadian Market ETF, should would there be a benefit to holding a Canadian Market ETF and a few of these stocks as well ?
Suncor Energy gotta be in the list!

Great stock, terrible company to work for, has the worst safety record out of all the Oil companies...
Canadian Utilities is owned by ATCO. I love that company and stock.
nice, i like fortis and canadian utilities and enbridge, imo will be the best ones once the market stabilizes...
That's a solid list Brandon! I currently own every single one with exception to CU. I sold CU in 2021 after their dividend increases really slowed down and they didn't fit my investing strategy any longer. I also love CPX, AQN for utilities, TRP for a pipeline because of its lower payout ratio and CTC.A as a consumer defensive high growth play. It is really hard to narrow it down to just 10 😁

hello...I wanted to check do we have any app in canada where we can run a monthly PAC and amount is automatically invested in a list of stocks, just like it does for mutual fund

Maybe what you're looking for an ETF? ETFs invest in a list of stocks... for example ZSP is a BMO ETF that invests in S&P500. Not sure if you can do automatic contributions to it tho
I would appreciate a US version of this list. Thanks for the great videos.

Would it be better to invest in something like VDY ETF instead? or is it better to pick individual stocks?

I have all these stocks except for ATD. I picked individual stocks to avoid all the fees. I just picked the top 10 companies from a few different ETF’s. I also have GWO.
#10 - 0:18 Bell (BCE) #9 - 0:55 Alimentation Couche-Tard (ATD) (the "d" in "tard" is supposed to be silent btw lmaooo) #8 - 1:50 Manulife Financial (MFC) #7 - 2:10 Telus (it's actually T, not TD) #6 - 2:42 Enbridge (ENB) #5 - 3:19 TD Bank (TD) #4 - 3:54 Power Corporation of Canada (POW) #3 - 4:25 Canadian National Railway (CNR) #2 - 5:05 Fortis (FTS) #1 - 5:48 Canadian Utilities (CU) Nice video as always :)
Brandon. I got blossom but can't get onto your group without a password?
You should add Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ), Canada's largest oil producer, to the list. CNQ's fundamentals are incredibly solid.

@@DelliDon Don't worry about the short-term price fluctuations. At $80, the price-earnings ratio is still 8. This is still incredibly cheap.

Hello, how have you been doing in the stock market recently?
Thanks Brandon! Love your videos! Quick question, What are your thoughts on just owning VDY instead of individual stocks? I currently have my entire portfolio in VEQT and am interested in DRIPing VDY as I think I'm going to come into enough cash to do so. I would continue to add to VEQT and allow VDY to DRIP for the next 20-30 years. I like the set it and forget it approach and also the mental satisfaction of seeing a monthly dividend. Is this foolish? Should I just stick to VEQT and call it a day? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

As 10 years dividends compounded at > 25%, and forward dividends are expected to grow by 18%, this dividend company have a lot of common sense in a dividend portfolio... like MSFT in US dividend portfolio since many years... You should not have only 3.5%++ yield with 2-3% growth... On top of this, you can see a good Capital gain over several years...
Can you do a video on how I can get 1000$ in passive income each month in dividends please? I appreciate this video so much thanks for all u do! I have the same values as u n grateful for ur research n videos
@cloudedjourney

You just have to do amount invested times dividend yield. EG if a stock pays 4.5% 1000x .045=45 dollars a year. If you look up dividend investment calculators on google you can play with different numbers. high yield is nice but over time a stock that raises dividends more will do better. Depends on timeline.

@@cloudedjourney thanks for the info. yes although I wonder what kind of a stock portfolio that would be strong and how much money I need to invest for 1000$ dividend, for example ,, I buy these Xyz stocks n invest this much to get 1000$ a month.. like kind of jus an idea if Brandon could do what a strong portflolio would look like if I want to have 1000$ in dividend income a month.
