Barbershop fragrances are my favourite fougeres. I know I haven't tried all those awesome barbershop fougeres out there, but for now my favourite and daily driver still is Platinum Egoiste, I'll always have it in my rotation 😅

Thanks for updated barbershop list!!! Have many from this list. My favs are yours also beau du jour and 2 you didnt mention, Amougage Bracken and fougere royale

Great list, and many of these are on my "want list". Sartorial is fabulous and I need to pick up a full bottle. One mention about Xeryus. I pick up a strong violet note throughout so if you're like me and prefer violet as more of a supporting note you may want to pass. Love Rive Gauche, but if you don't want to pay $$$ River Fougere by Dua is a great alternative (if it isn't sold out).

Awesome list, sir! I absolutely love Sartorial!! Has some sentimental value for me, so it's tough to top!!

Dan! check out De Flore by Athena fragrances... a near 1-1 of Rive Gauche. I have both and wear the Athena often.

I have every single one of those. Which wouldn't be surprising given fougere is my favorite genre. My favorite barbershop fougere is Beau de Jour, but THE quintessential Barbershop Fougere in terms of scent profile is YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme. You could also throw Creed Bois du Portugal in there if you want. I would also add Floris Elite to the group. Pardums de Nicolai New York Intense as well. Rogue Perfumery has a new one out called Targhee Forest, which is like Rogue's heavy oakmoss version of a Bois du Portugal.

@@dorianducker4802 PRPH was up there. It was butchered. My top, currently, is Amouage Bracken Man. It is superior to TFBdJ imho.

I was glad to see Gravitas Pour Homme on the list, I got it and it's very nice!!

Beau de jour is really great in small amounts.

Paco rabanne pour homme, aqua di parma essanza both my favorite barbershop fragrances.

Ysl rive gauche is the best!

Acqua di Parma Colonia my alltime fav. Good enough for Cary Grant & Katherine Hepburn good enough for me.

Xeryus is a wonderful fragrance and a staple in the collection since its original release. Layers really well with Terre d’Hermes. Try it and you’ll see.

Great video Dan, I love all the fragrances in the list, talking about invasion barbare that I love, I was watching JJ live a few hours ago and he compared it with 1725 (Casanova) by Histoires de Parfums... what do you think? what is your favorite between these two?

Thank you so much for the Super Thanks Fernando. Yes there are similarities. I found 1725 had a slight licorice note that differentiated it. Definitely similar though.

Milano Cento and Bon Monsieur are both excellent! I also love Masculin Pluriel by MFK and Heritage by Guerlain.

Dior eau sauvage edt is one the best barbershop fragrance

All of these suggestions are top notch. Has anyone tried Alexandria fragrances original creation "dapper 1959". It is so ridiculously good. The absolute quintessential barbershop frag to me. Its their take on an italian barbershop in the late 50's. Crazy good stuff.

Watch “Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai.” These scents are the way the mafia bosses smell. Great selection, Mr. Smelly.

Branch out and make outdoor videos. This is ok but Rich Mitch unintentionally did a remake of Get Carter when he visited a remote reservoir and reminisced about watching the sun rising over the waters. It had a gritty northern crime thriller vibe.

Haven't you done this list like 300 times? You need more descriptors because you've done so many, like top 10 barbershops for a Sunday, top 10 barbershops for eating fish, top 10 for pushing Naughton & Wilson on people, top 10 for, well you get the idea
