I think the reason for Sailor Moon being over AoT is for how iconic and how much influence it has had on anime and everyone in general. When you talk about anime transformation sequences the images that pop up into everyone's head are DBZ and Sailor Moon.

I really enjoyed the Japanese version of the transformations for the Power Puff Girls In Power Puff Girls Z. The mix of the transformation visual with the music sync was awesome. I also loved that they each got their own unique theme, as well as having a separate song and recombined sequence for when they do a joint transform. The English version, not so much, as they changed the music and did not even try to keep the sound effects synced with the new tracks.

Akira is still the pinnacle of animation. How fluidly the wires move down the chair arm is just insanity.

Issei's transformation into his juggernaut form was pretty freaking cool. The lead up to it was pretty epic

I remember watching dragon ball z on toonami in 2004 when the america first witnessed Goku transform into super sayian. Those couple of minutes where so intense and the suspense was extreme mixed with so much excitement. those few minutes felt like an hour and a second at the same time. Dragon Ball Z set the bar so high up that other shows just wouldnt dare make a transformation for many many years later once the DBZ hype calmed down. prove me wrong but DBZ owned its Generation and there will never be anything to replace it in its time.

So I think it's safe to assume they need to do a 2nd list for this category. Like how is pokemon on here but not digimon? How is luffy nowhere to been seen (any of his gears)? Then we also have Naruto & Gon. That's almost half of there list here so yea I'm definitely expecting a "top 10 anime transformations pt 2" in my notifications sometime next month. Lol

Nope. Nope. Nope. The ant arc is really good and has a lot of amazing fights. Besides if you are going to bash it, at least acknowledge how good was the development of the relation between komugi and the King. It was a really long and emotional arc, but also had lots of good characters introduced, which led to the many good fights.

I definitely agree with Anderson being on the list. He and Alucard were so similar that their only real difference was Anderson's possession of humanity, something Alucard gave up and now regrets for the rest of his existence. Its ironic, during that battle Alucard was waiting for Anderson to kill him as a man, only to watch in horror to see the past repeat itself, this time with Anderson becoming god's monster to defeat Alucard, when all he had to do was to fight Alucard with his humanity intake. Alucard would had let him take his heart

Ichigo hollow transformation when he was fighting with espada no.4 (urkiora) is the best for me
