Just because they don’t walk away from movies focused on the muscles doesn’t mean it’s not a nice aesthetically pleasing thing for the audience to see in the main character. The little things matter too.

I love how a professional animator from a series is actually impressed to professional animators from youtube.

I love how this wasn't actually dissing Jaden but mostly drawing the correlation of story telling from KIPO to her animations in a humorous way all while telling us what key factors are important in animation. I agree with Rad Sechrist, Jaden's work is amazing and despite the simple quality of it, her work is very elegant and she uses story telling very well. I love her

The reason she felt guilty was actually because she failed the nuzlocke and her chat let her carry on, that's why after she meets Giratina you begin seeing the outcomes of the over Jaiden :P

I guess the real character arc was the KZread video he made along the way.

Only place I can learn and watch Ethan go on an emotional character arc.

Just when I thought everything is lost and Ethan's ego would never let him appreciate Jaiden's animation - they use a simple, single, still shot from a dramatic angle to fully capture the catharsis where Ethan is confronted with his insecurities and misguided notions about animation. Such a fine resolution as we are shown Ethan letting go of his ego and letting Rad speak his mind. I'm moved by the character arc and effective message delivery. Masterpiece.

I love how Ethan’s purpose is to rob trolls and bullies of the gratification of being a jerk by portraying the dumb things they would say and drama through satire. Also really nice how he doesn’t leave the portrayal as two dimensional. Often times it is the hurt people who hurt people and they just need some help, ideally from a trained therapist.

I'm weeping at the beautiful rare sympathetic side of ethan- it was so wholesome

I love Rad and Ethan's dynamic in this video. I think if they did something like the draftsmen podcast but for animators it would be awesome...

Ethan is the only person who could roast the heck out of any of us and we would all unanimously thank him for it.

I'm taking an animation course and its kinda weird to hear terminology that gets said in those classes. (This is mainly because the school i attend isn't American) Like "Simple Stupid" is something that gets said all the time in my world design classes, its cool to find that that is like a universal "slang" term in the animation world.

I love your videos... I know you're more about characters, but I'd love to see you explain backgrounds! Or at least get your best recommendations about that. I always struggle so much when trying to do concept art and sketches that aren't just the character standing in the middle of no where.
