The thing about scientific discoveries by accident is that there's no definitive one where they're like "well that's an oopsie I didn't mean to do that" because it did Help science further

You know I just realized as well when you mention that gunpowder was accidentally discovered, remember That in Minecraft the creeper was also an accident due to a bug so in certain ways they share that in common. That's very interesting am I right?

A couple of my favorites are the safety glass used in automobiles, an idea sparked by dropping a glass beaker full of adhesive, and rifling imparting spin on bullets increasing their accuracy through gyroscopic stabilization, when it was originally created to put longer grooves in barrels to give more space for black powder fowling to go to allow more shots before fowling made reloading difficult and increased chamber and barrel pressure.

Fun Fact : Some song lyrics/or songs are actually accidental. Even the person singing it. That person didn't expect the song to sound that way.

You never know how experiments will turn out.

Denatonium, the most bitter, non-toxic chemical created, and is used on products not meant to be consumed or to keep whatever it applies out of people's mouths. If a toddler could swallow something, it likely got coated with a derivative of denatonium. It also gets used to discourage nail biting in adults.

That’s more of a culinary discovery rather than a scientific one. But it’s gooder than a bitch tho lmfaoo. Same with potato chips/crisps

I accidentally discovered how our own alphabet effects our minds and what we do by using our own names. I can now tell anyone things about themselves that I should have no way of knowing, simply by finding out the first letter of their first name. I even wrote a book about it, explaining how I do what I have been doing for almost 20 years now.

The natural supplement MSM, regrows hair, it’s actually a modern day ‘Fountain of Youth’….great for arthritis, joint pain, aging, etc
