Fashion is just like any business. If designers tell that oversized suits, or tube tops, or anything is cool people will buy it just to throw it out away again when I goes out of fashion. Wear what makes you happy and stop being a toy in the hands of companies.

fashion always seems to come back around and young people always think the latest trends are brand new and no one has ever worn the "newest" styles before. I include myself in that, when I was 16/17 (2006-2007), 80s styles came back into fashion, bright coloured ra-ra skirts with clashing leggings underneath, big chunky plastic earrings and bangles etc and like any teenager I thought it was all new and innovative 😂Now I see all the stuff I wore as a kid in the 90s everywhere

I always looked at the oversized suits as an homage to the zoot suits of the 1940s and 1950s. The sweater vest had an unprecedented hold on me. The multiple levels of the comment regarding the colored sunglasses, "Even Justin Timberlake couldn't pull them off, and that man pulls off everything" is not lost on me.

There were FAR MORE AGREGIOUS fashion fails in the 90's. Some of these were actually the only redeeming fashion trends from the decade. Tube Tops were fine. The only problem with them was the ones that were TOO small or worn by people who shouldn't be wearing them. Wind breakers aren't a far gone relic. They became hugely popular again a couple years ago. Just not so bright. I've got a couple Nike ones in my closet now. And low rise jeans? Shit, girls wear these all day every day now. It's either SUPER low rise or those nasty high waist jeans (which make girls look like their butt starts half way up their back and ends at the back of their knees) Ladies, stop wearing those! No guy likes long butt!

When sagging pants became all the rage I worked in the office at our local middle school. We had a solution for sagging drawers. A skein of yarn! Teachers would send them up to the office, the boy and some girls were asked to hike their pants up and we would tie them up with yarn. We tried to keep pink yarn in for the boys to discourage them from wearing them again. You'd take 3 belt loops and run a double or triple line of yarn and tie it tight enough they couldn't pull them down passed their butt anymore. I seriously think the boys wore the saggy jeans to get the attention of the yarn. All the kids liked me cause I treated them with respect, teased them like they were my kids friends and some of them were. We lived where I worked. I actually grew up there and went to the same middle school. I knew most of these kids parents and had permission to torture their kid 🤣🤣🤣 God, I miss my job 😢

Why this isn't a thing anymore is beyond me. I'mma start some of these and some 80s trends back up... Even the early 2000s... But NOT thin ass eyebrows... Why we thought that was cute is beyond me, or the bangs covering your eyes/face... Boots with the fur lmao I'm going off on a tangent now haha One last thing... I think that fanny packs are an awesome invention and I use them at work as a nurse...
