@@emimar1 Wow my comment got deleted. I believe it was abt calling out skin tones. Obv when doing this, context matters and it should be relevant to the topic as it can trigger people. So why not strive for accurate usage of language? Maybe mods/Sam didn't like the example I gave abt slavery. The idea is basically, people alter their speech based on fear of being offensive which is actually more offensive than saying what you want to say if the person were a wall. Offensive in the sense of race, sex, gender, and so many more aspects of life... We all have classifying thoughts daily, and you shouldn't fear them, they're just there to let you realise that history is the past, we are here for a better world for everyone equally, that's it. Don't feel bad for maybe upsetting someone bc by not worrying you are widening/changing their view which is positive. Sometimes a person is lost and needs help, just talking and having respect + no prejudice will help them out.
