As of 1.4, all I have in terms of updates to this guide is that counterfeits are good and you should feel free to use them in this fight as you see fit

Other tips/strategies: 1. Gags used on a Rush Job cog that are not that specific Rush Job will do 40% less damage. This is especially important when considering killing a cog versus fulfilling the Rush Job. 2. Graham summons cogs every two rounds, completely filling the max cog capacity. This starts at Turn 2 with 4 cogs and 5 cogs every two turns after. One strategy is to get him alone by killing all cogs in even-numbered rounds so that he puts a Rush Job on himself in odd-numbered rounds. This allows you to directly do massive damage to the Pacesetter when he's alone. Killing all cogs also means less total Rush Jobs as each cog can only have a maximum of 1 Rush Job. 3a. If there is one Drop Rush Job, Drops comes after Lure, and you need to group Lure to avoid massive damage, have one person trap the Drop Rush Job cog. 3b.Another way to fulfill the Drop Rush job when Drop comes before Lure is to Trap the Drop Rush Job killing it while using group Lure. Remember the 40% damage reduction though. 3c. Another way is to single lure or Fire the non-Drop Rush job cogs, reducing overall damage taken. 4. If Sound comes before Lure, consider during a "Lure Reset". This is when one person uses Sound and one person uses Lure. This allows the cog's Lure to be reset. This is especially useful when 1 or more cogs are unluring the next round. 5. If you're panicking and don't know what to do, follow this general flow chart: (1) Fulfill a rush job, (2) Group lure unless there's a Drop Rush Job and Lure comes before Drop, (3) Toon-Up, (4) Throw Graham for self-heal, (5) Trap Pacesetter 6. Lure is super important and more important than Toon-Up. One person should be luring almost every turn unless it conflicts with a Rush Job or you need all 4 to complete the Rush Jobs. Group lure is more important than Toon-Up as you can't outheal multiple cogs hitting you. 7. General things to check: 7a. When using Sound, does Lure come after and does Sound not kill all the cogs? If so, lure 7b. If lure comes before Sound, can we all Sound and kill all/most of the cogs? If so, all should Sound. If not, one person Sound, and then someone should Toon-Up. 7c. When using Lure, check to see if there is a Drop Rush Job and if Drop comes before Lure. If it doesn't, see point 3. 8. You usually don't want to be double-fulfilling Rush Orders. Usually, there's something better you could be doing. 9. I personally recommend Squirting the Zapped cog rather than cogs next to it. I believe that the potential extra damage is usually not worth the 5% chance of missing and incurring Hurry Sickness. This is a case-by-case basis however and sometimes Squiriting the adjacent cogs is the better move. 10. Be careful on kiling cogs with Squirt when doing Zap Rush Orders. It could cause Zap to not bounce correctly. I like bringing 1 Squirting Flower just in case. There's a bunch more little tips you can learn. Getting experience and learning from losses is the best way to improve! -Vincent/Vegas

a tip I have that’s helpful mainly with random groups, when u have to use chat to communicate I’d keep chatlogs open; cause there will be plenty of scenarios when two people call out the same rush job. Whether it’s Toonup, lure, soak, and especially trap. Pay attention to the chatlogs and whoever called it first, they do that tushjob and you say “u”. That’s called “Respect the calls”

God this seems like the kind of fight that would be MUCH easier in a Discord call lol. That's how my gang is planning to do this fight so call outs are easier.

Back before the guitar became a loot drop, I was nervous with this fight and only had 8 wins. But then the shredder became a legendary drop and sparked a fire within me, giving me the motivation I needed to keep fighting him,and ever since then my win record against pacesetter went into the 50s.

The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal bodeboop. A sing lap should be completed every time you hear this sound. ding Remember to run in a straight line and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark. Get ready!… Start.

Learned something interesting today accidentally. Double trapping the same cog still fulfills a trap rush job. Yipee to not failing that run.

Kind of weird but I imagine it's there so you can keep the cog lured? If you want? Like as a strategic choice on a trap rush job you choose to double trap the 17.exe big wig so it stays lured instead of getting hit by trap

One thing about the cheat Content Sync, its threshold is actually 10,200 HP, not 10,000. I figured that out like a week ago but forgot to update the wiki, not that it's a huge difference lol

From fighting pace, one tip I found is to pay attention to how many gags in a track you have left, and try to have at least 2 types of a gag track available. If you are down to only 1 gag type in a track, such as only having safes for drop, pace can fully ban your gag track. It’s not guaranteed that he will, but if he does it can cause big problems. If you do end up with only 1 type of gag in a track, try to inform your teammates. Also avoid calling rush jobs for that track, unless necessary. Finally, if it’s necessary for you to be the one to use the track you are running out of, try to find a gap and forge lower levels of that track, so you can at least complete the jobs.

One other thing I want to add is besides Big Magnet Lvl 4 gags are NOT worth bringing. Lvl one gags are actually more useful (again besides lure) because you can fulfill a job and keep a cog around that you don't want to kill (say a lvl 10 or lvl 11 or a low HP cog that you need alive for zap to work). Also I agree Squirtless Zapless is by far the worst build in the game, if I see that build I ask them to switch and if they can't/refuse I kick them

That's pretty toxic. Kicking someone because they run a certain build you deem the worst without proof that they can't be proficient in it.

My goal was to beat Graham myself when he came out, but I took too long and by the time I unlocked Dreamland, everyone had beaten Pace countless times, to the point where it feels like a moot point to battle him. He seems so cool. Reminds me of the Weapon battles in Final Fantasy 7. I bet nowadays, there are people who think those battles are easy, especially compared to fights like this one. I can't enjoy anything anymore without someone making the accomplishment seem trivial. I dunno. Is that wrong of me? I wonder if Pace were any harder, would people just keep making the battle seem easier? It is 20xx. Toontown players can battle Pace at 999x speed with TAS levels of perfection....

@@pippy7334 It was a joke from this other person who ranted on this star wars game who was shocked there was a guide on how to play this class when it was just click stuff. And yeah pacesetter kinda just reminded me of the concept. In all seriousness though, compliment wise, really helpful to those going in, love the details too. :) Also yeah side note: Multi tooning it is one of the hardest things to try out aside chainsaw and CLO.
