I saw a comment from an Australian saying that they weren’t surprised they lost, England has so much talent in the team, they could have put the entire England bench on the pitch and the result would have been the same. The resilience and adaptability of the Lionesses meant they were always going to win

They did have a pretty easy road, it has to be said. They didn't have to beat Japan, Sweden, Netherlands..if they can beat Spain, I'll be impressed.

​@@nkb420Nigeria were far more athletically challenging to play against than any of those teams. It's more impressive than England beat Nigeria (admittedly on penalties) because they were completely out matched physically and couldn't assert their usual qualities onto the game to win, as would be the case if we faced Japan, Sweden or the Netherlands.

This is CS FROM THE US: Agreed; Couple or Triple that w/ other Injuries and L. James being out, it was impressive: Should have scored 5 or 6 to be honest, if MILLIE BRIGHT ' "Squares up" on any of those Headers (3) off Corners Wouldn't surprise me if the Coach has MB working on it, for that is a "corner kick /set piece" Weapon w/ her length: LAUREN HEMP; What more can you say? She has a Gas Tank that stays Full; She and the group Cut CATLEY & CARPENTER down to size, and relegated RASO & FOORD 2 being "non - Factors"... MARY FOWLER was their best player on the day, but I think this Side could still play better, which is a "scary" prospect.

I am amazed by this team... im amazed also by how much brazilian people and tv has complimented cute Hemp....brazilian tv said.. "Hemp is the owner of this game..." "Hemp is the best player of the tournament..."... and they also kept praising sarina..and the other girls...but specially hemp....they were actually talking about her a second before shes scored the 2 goal.... a female narrator was saying.. "i have to say Hemp is the contrast.. the difference...and she brings so....." her words were cut by other narrator.."and there she comes again......Lauren hemp Lauren heeeeemp......goooooooooooal...carpenter failed but hemp wouldnt fail....."- looool...... all the girls have done it but hemp was the owner of that match...100%, her hunger and passion and commitment cannot be left unsaid...

A deliberate act in the first half of the game to shove the Aussie players off the field. Fan of both teams. Want to see skills being demonstrated not grabbing the opposition hoping they fall to the ground.

Also not much was said when Gutzman came on for Colombia last game, and kicked lumps out of two England girls within the space of about 10 minutes, nerves maybe? But allowances were made about that , the Aussies are making us out to be a dirty team, - - - - we're not.....
