Recent skins barely have losing animations and I think that's their intention. Ever since they added the 6 seconds game highlights replay when battles end, it doesn't show their first few seconds of their losing animation, which their effort on this is pointless. So, I believe they are putting less work on losing animations so they can put more effort on other stuffs. Besides, I don't think everyone even pay attention to losing animation when their battles end.

I believe Kairos said the losing animation is unfinished in the devbuild but will be in the main game. We have to wait to see it.

I’m going to get Dark Lord Spike when it returns and while I do play a lot of spike, I just find dark lord spike more interesting. Also toon spike just looks off to me in game.
