Way beyond my current level, I would request each tool that was mentioned to have a different video of its own.. Hope

Thanks Adam for this comprehensive content, the beginners really got so lucky to acknowledge all these in one single video, which if one searches for by himself, would really require some time and still won't be able to discover all of these.

Mind blown by this video! Performance analyzer looks like the place to be, especially with the section on actually getting suggestions on the code! Buying "DAX Patterns" too. I'm currently reading the "Definitive Guide to DAX". You guys do so much for PowerBI.

Yes, these 3 standard tools we heavily rely on and looking forward to seeing these tools getting better and better everyday with every New release., Also there's a Power bi documenter from radacad team, useful to quickly extract the various info (model, visual, measures etc) into an Excel file.

Hi Adam, great content as usual. I didn't know ALM Toolkit and Best Practices Analyzer (I'm going to stuck on the latter!) and not familiar to Tabular Editor neither. I couldn't agree more about the value of these books. Thanks!

Thanks for this great overview Adam! In my humble opinion at least one Power Query book should have been also mentioned (either Gil-‘s book or M is for Data Monkeys). Designing a good model starts in Power Query and knowing to build the right model helps simplifying DAX

Tabular editor is a massively useful bit of kit, especially if you're doing multiple changes to an underlying dataset. One spin of the refresh metadata wheel and it lists everything that has changed and what it will update the tabular model to. So so so so much easier than Data Tools.

Great job, as always, Adam! Jazzed to see all the same tools I use too! I recently started using Visual Studio Code for my Power Queries. I LOVE the formatting of the M Code!!! I also like putting these queries under source control with Git and Bitbucket. I like having a library of the queries for other BI Developers to use - helps with consistency. Plus it's backed up in the cloud and I can reference a query easily without having to open a PBIX file. Keep up the great work!!!

Hi Chris Could you provide some resources on how to version control POWER QUERY using VS code or Github, is this free for commercial use?

Great video Adam! I was thinking about buying a book to learn more about dimensial modeling so this video came just in time! Now I'm unsure whether I should buy the Star Schema The Complete Reference or The Data Warehouse Toolkit because I've heard the latter is also really good at understanding star schemas. 🤔

For back end design that always will influence the quality of the front end I recommend to have a look att Kimballs work and if you are interested in modelling history I would add anchor modelling.
