Hi Rachel, awesome vid. I’ve seen that you’re using an old gen Mac as so do I. Do you have lag and overheat esp. when doing gmeet and figma at the same time. Also how heavy is after effect? I’m interested on learning it

Hey Jodie! I live in Malaysia, it's pretty hot here (26-32°C), so the laptop is always heating, I'm used to it. Sometimes the laptop throttles the speed to protect itself from overheating, hence the lag when using heavy apps. Fan blowing loudly on Gmeet / Zoom is normal to me. It's able to handle Figma + After Effects, no problem so far. Just make sure you have at least 16GB of RAM so the application doesn't crash.
3:17 how you make it scollable in figma ?
Hi Rachel I'm also a UI UX design from Zimbabwe My tools I use MacBook Pro 2020 M1 Chip Figma for UI Adobe Illustrator for vector graphics After Effects for Animations Photoshop for photo manipulation I have a Sketchbook to jot down some ideas and sketches But i have a bad rercod on managing time 🙈🙈🙈

Hi Rachel. Greetings from India. How is crazy egg for tracking user behaviour?
hi Rachel! I am wondering if using an older MacBook pro mid 2014 is sufficient to learn and use the tools like Sigma and Adobe XD.. maybe web flow to produce my work? I am starting my school in UX Design next month! Thanks:)

Hi Rachel, would you say that Figma alone is enough if you want to become a product designer? What other softwares will i need to use?
@rachelhow
Жыл бұрын
If you've just started, Figma is the best tool (in my opinion) for product design. You can then learn Adobe After Effects if you want to create Lottie animations for digital interfaces (Lottiefiles.com). For user research, you will eventually pick up those skills at your full time job - eg. Maze, Hotjar or any tool your company uses.
Hey, Thank you very much again. I've learned a lot. Why you do not start being a teacher. I need someone like you to teach me some stuff.
WOW 😮 this is amazing thank you for this video ! Xx
Hi, how did you study English? Can you open your tips?
What tools do you recommend for building personal websites? I have a wordpress one, but it's not the best fit for designers. Btw you're doing incredible work :)🌻

Hi Rachel! This is great sharing about UX designers at your yt channel. One question: do we really need to know HTML or code to be a UX designer? Where can we learn about it easily?
@Ufeli
6 ай бұрын
You dont need to learn coding or Html to be a uiux designer ❤
Rachel, please can you be my personal teacher? I want to learn directly from you 🙏
I just want to ask, as a UI UX designer, do you recommend that we should also learn CSS, HTML, JavaScript?
@rachelhow
2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! The short answer is no, you don't need to learn CSS/HTML/JS or any code. But you do need to know (roughly) what is technically possible and what is not. Long answer is here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gI6Oyaesmquaf7Q.html Hope this helps!
