Tools for life
Look behind the scenes of the Limited Service Volunteer (LSV) programme, and see how it can make a difference in young people’s lives. LSV is a free live-in 6-week training course for 17-24 year olds. The course is run in partnership by MSD and NZDF. Police mentors also support LSV courses.

Staff Neria Wildermoth is absolutely awesome and easy to talk to. Saw her after 8 years still the same caring soul for these young ones, she was doing a quick night run for her group at countdown to get their essentials. One of the original staff for lsv Burnham so good to see her still going strong.
This is great. We need this for the troubled youth in society. Give them a purpose and goals.
The key to changing young lives is to surround them with people with integrity, respect and honor. Good on ya NZ gov.
It's great to see our young people getting this level of support! An excellent program with great mentors. I'm not sure I agree with calling the participants "tools" however.
Staff Wildermoth. She was there when I was on the course in 2005.
This is something I would've enjoyed as a teen, but these times are different and I believe so many of our young people don't get to try these things - I am grateful to all involved including the teens who had the courage to try it out - beautiful to see so many of our next generation succeeding!!!!
Good times they were for sure !💯💙🔥
Congratulations!
Great ❤

I hope you don’t have a desire to see justice then. Police and Justice are two different things
ahhhh damn
LOL, LSV seem to have lowered standards around facial hair since I was on it.
You better give the army cadets a new uniform if you’re gonna give them our uniform

Hahaha it does seem a bit unfair that you're still in DPM's. But I still prefer GWD's over CWD's

LOL, drones and vapes.
Not too sure why the police are running it? Young people are (generally) more likely to trust and respect the defence force, rather than the police.
The Police lady looks like she could use a scrub down, I dont think she is in a position to be lecturing people about personal grooming. Neither of them actually.
