Their old stuff will never be forgotten. But, there new stuff has a refined elegance to it that I appreciate a lot. Danny is unbelievable.

Crazy thing about Tool shows is that the crowd is so mesmerized by the entirety of the experience that they aint even jumpin around. It is more like performance art than a rock concert. I've been to shows when Maynard never says a word to the crowd, except "good night." Awesome.

That’s the experience they want from the audience. They don’t want a bunch of idiots jumping around or mosh pits. A Tool concert is art of the audible kind.

I’m glad it’s reached that point, seen them in 98, crowd was different. Check out Tool Lewiston Maine 1998, whole concert is there somewhere, video and sound quality is good considering it was 98.

I think they are Way More about the light or Lazer show than the actual music. Pink Floyd was more about the music. You got to wonder with the tool shows are people really paying much attention to the music performed or are just gazing at the overwhelming laser show? Pink Floyd would wipe the stage with Tool.

The concept of a devil himself is a creation of God, therefore is a servant of him, if you beleive there is one. Because if there were no devil, there would be No one for God to fight against, therefore making the point moot. Being a decent person does not require the belief in a deiety or magic powers. If you really need a God to tell you what is right and wrong or how to help your neighbor then you lack empathy and are selfish, doing seemingly good deeds only for your self interest. . How about we start treating our existance HERE as if it were heaven, and be kinder to each other and our planet and its creatures, instead of an inconvenient bus stop where we have to "pay in prayers" to win the shiny gates of heaven.
