Lucky bastards 😀. For the longest time (probably a few years even) Flood was kind of a hidden song to me. I listened to it on my CD and the intro was so long that I skipped forward to the end of the album where I found Disgustipated (after songs 10-68 😂) and somehow I figured they were both just parts of this long "parody" track at the end. Those kind of album ending weird songs were pretty common in the 90's alt rock anyways. So while listening to Undertow, I always stopped at 4 degrees as I thought it was the last "actual" song. So when I one day let the whole album run through, my jaw dropped when I heard what a gem of a song came after that long intro. Flood then became my instant favor on that album for years to come. I´ve seen Tool now 4 times since 2001. I think Flood is one of the few songs I haven't heard live yet.

Gonna start a shit storm. Love tool. Been listening since I was 6. Grew up singing the songs and jamming out with my older sister. I like a perfect circle more. Sorry. Love all tool fans. But a perfect circle takes the cake for me. It’s not something I can explain. The music does that for me. Super huge fan of both bands. Flood is one of my all time favorite songs. Tools longer songs are all my favorites. Flood, wings for Marie 1 and 2, eulogy, third eye probably my favorite , laterals, the patient, reflection, I could go on and on. The longer the better

Nothing wrong w that. I appreciate tool for their super super technical abilities to pull suck complex pieces live with minimal to no accidents. I just saw APC few weeks ago. They put on a great show as well personally Brena has to be my favorite song. Love that solo at the end wish it was longer

They played this 05/06 in Paris. When i first heard the notes i was like No way they're gonna play Flood to my friend. And then we started sceaming. Hahaha best band ever created i wish they will come back soon and play a lot more of Undertow/opiate and salival.

@@jimbriscoe1 Yep and Flood. Because I’ve seen them 12 times now going back to 2001. And the last time they played it was during the Lateralus tour. Even back then it was rare. If they were ever going to play it again it would’ve been in rotation in one of the tours by now.

Agreed. Culling Voices is climactic blue balls. It builds to nothing which ends up making the whole song feel phoned in. Unfulfilled potential.
