The first time I saw Tool live was in 97. They were on the Lollapalooza tour. I had never heard of them before. I had no idea the treat that I was in for. They started their set just as the sun was setting. It made for an incredible show. If I remember right, Maynard was wearing a jump suite made of orange carpet....in the summer heat... lol

This is exactly how I feel about them. Tool and PF are the only 2 bands that can elicit very strong, authentic emotions from me by just listening to their music. While I am too young to have seen PF at their peak, I am so grateful that I have gotten to experience Tool live multiple times now.

Tool is Pink Floyd on steroids.

I don't always listen to TOOL, but when I do the neighbors £uc×ing love it!!

I have been waiting 28 + plus years to see these guys. I hope that day arrives ,BEFORE mine does. They are the ultimate . I have followed and seen PINK FLOYD,in previous ,times. And in my mind ,TOOL is part if that collective. But SO MUCH MORE.

The boys look like they are really enjoying themselves playing live on this tour, it gives an extra bit of soul to these technical masterpieces. We're so lucky to have them :)

@@jeffstanley2972 Absolutely gorgeous. I had floor seats for the first of two shows so I caught some of the confetti. Tool’s shows are so otherworldly and beautiful. Hope to see them again.

I didnt know Sonic Temple was on. I saw Tool last at Rock On The Range, maybe in 2017

Buckeye Lake '93 was an entirely different level of Maynard.

Tool is probably the best band live , props to their sound engineer(s) too..............................

My first TOOL concert actually sounded horrible. The vocals were muddy and hard to understand. And Adam always stands around looking bored AF. Justin and Danny are the best to watch IMO. The other concerts sounded better but just felt like having a dream over again. RADIOHEAD is the best I've seen. Sound/FX/lights and just overall best experience. Harder/heavier music doesn't necessarily make the best live show. It's the connection they make to the crowd and that small moment in time when everyone piles all their energy together and rises on it. And if you're not familiar with their live show energy.. you should get acquainted hahaha

Agreed. The main thing I notice is that the sound effects and guitar are always too loud in phone recordings. Seeing them live Justin absolutely dominates and Maynard is much more present in the mix. Here he almost sounds weak

That's literally the first thing I thought to myself. Not sure what's with all the phones here. On their last year's tour they were very strict about no phones during the entire show except for the last track Invincible which is why all the best quality footage from last year were all Invincible recordings.

I've seen them and APC multiple times. There IS a marked difference. Stop being simps, it's not a good look.🤣

I've seen T00L around 12-13 times, including back to back nights & flying to go see them.. this is a very very poor example of T00L live. This should not even be published, because T00L is the greatest live band ever period. This is not a good example

His vocals don’t seem to be at the right level, it sounds super low I’ve seen them live 13 times and it never sounded that muffled
