This has been said many times before... Your favorite Tool song is often the one you are listening to. After 25+ years I just cannot pick one favorite. It is constantly changing as I grow and change. Songs I used to skip when I was young are now touching me in ways they never did before. Example: Lost keys/Rosetta Stoned, Jimmy, and H. were all slow to get into my regular listening patterns... Now they can bring me to tears.

Totally agree with there's no way to pick a favorite. I found your list interesting. What part about Rosetta brings you to tears? For me it's when , "Overwhelmed as one would be..." Comes on. Tool songs that can make me sob are: The Patient, Parabol/Parabola/ Lateralus, Reflection, Invincible, Descending, Pushit and even Anema and Third eye.

That blanket! What a gracious thing to do. Great reaction. I love this song. There's a gem like this in every album. Quirky. More experimental. 🌀🌀🌀 Addendum: Adam Jones is the Tone God. I can tell you like his playing.

I had that same thought when I saw the blanket, lol. So glad I didn’t say anything. That would be known as, “foot in mouth and head up asshole”. One of their lyrics from a song I’m not sure if you’ve cover yet or not. Anyways, please keep going. These guys are well worth the extended tour. ✌️

D-Money! 😆Maybe there's something bout turning the song inwards, but I like the idea of Maynard ripping somebody a new one during an open-casket funeral. 😅 This song. Totally right on about sticking with the grove. But then Danny tosses in two sick drum licks just because... Filthy bass. Crazy tone. Tool always cooking. The whole LP put Tool at GOAT-level early in.
