I agree!, probably my favorite tool song. To have witnessed the full version played live for the first time ever @rockville 2019...I was in complete awe. shook me to the core. I really hope these guys put out at least one more album and I live to hear it. Muscle every fiber..Mobilize, STAY ALIVE!!!

I know, I was them in Chicago last month. Took my girl with me, and she never heard their music before. I told her to avoid hearing any of their songs or looming them up on KZread. I envy her experience, because like everyone else, you're stunned in silence with what you're watching.

@Molasor Rosalom I had some shrooms for the concert. Amplifies the experience to the next level. Tool has you by the balls for that full show. The no phone thing is the best thing ever I think, you look around at the crowd and all 20,000 people are just rocking the fuck out and vibing with the rest of the room.

Actually, Maynard does most of the writing. Adam only gets to give his, "input," which caused some controversy back in the day! Billy Howerdel is the only composer to have an equal say to Maynard, but that's in, "a perfect circle," not tool...

@@johnorfanos6287 that's absolute rubbish dude. maynard does absolutely nothing nowadays except his lyrics. back in the day he was more involved in the writing process but he got really annoyed when he wrote stuff and they recorded some demos just for adam, danny and justin to come up with new riffs and changing them around so basically all his work was for naught. that's why now he lets them just do their thing and send him the songs once they are happy and then he writes his lyrics. the riff for descending was actually written by justin but adam had the idea to have himself play it and justin do this tripplet riff on top. so yeah. about every tool riff ever was written by adam and justin since he joined the band. and quite a lot are justins doing. he is really a genious when it comes to write those unique and awesome riffs.

I like watching this video on my TV, syncd up with the album audio. I feel like Im right back in the arena. Tool's visual, starting from the 10,000 days era, are top tier, above my previous favorites, Pink Floyd-Pulse tour, and Nine Inch Nails,. Downward Spiral Tour.(For that time, an exceptional visual and light show, coupled with their angst and energy...good shit) Damn,.I totally just showed my age, didn't I?

So he wants a revolution against human behavior? Like all the fuels they burn going from city to city, and all the fuels we burn going to see them? It all seems a bit paradoxical. Oh well. Great song anyway.

@@TheDistressedSetlist haha, Maynard is not on record saying anything about the hidden meanings of any of his songs! He likes to mess with the media by speaking in parabols. Look, I could stand to be corrected, but only if you supply the, "record," of him saying exactly that...
I always create backing tracks for the songs i like but for this I am afraid to create a drum track i dont have any idea of where would i start and how would i even decipher whats being played . There is so much activity.
