I think the "RM and Jin can't dance" thing stems from the fact that they can't /freestyle/. Jimin, J-Hope, Kookie and even V can pull dances out of thin air. RM and Jin, when they freestyle, are usually more comical with their freestyle because, in all reality, they aren't dancers. RM is a rapper. Jin is a vocalist. They can dance, and dance well, but dancing isn't their focus. It's like there's a difference between dancers and people who dance, just like there's a difference between painters and people who paint.

exactly! Those 2 can dance very very well and keep up with the best of them during choreo. Very few people overall that dance can actually do freestyle. That's a whole other level of knowing the art of dance and your own body. So just because they can't freestyle, doesn't mean in any way they can't dance.

Those who criticise RM and Jin are those who can’t dance. Even experts at their craft like Hobi/ Jimin appreciate their efforts. You can’t compare who dance for years since childhood and have such passion for it with someone who learns later in life. But no point talking senses to haters anw🤷🏻‍♀️

Seoul SeokJin just because someone comments on facts does not make them a hater. Any ARMY know that those two aren't dancers. They can dance after 6 almost 7 years of practice. In the beginning they weren't very good. This isn't saying anything against their vocal and rap talent. Yes the rest of the boys appreciate their effort and they have gotten alot better. But that still doesn't make them dancers. Even the dance line and the group joke about those two not being able to dance. Now there is a difference between a dancer and being able to dance. They are able to dance and have gotten alot better since they started. So please next time don't go around calling another ARMY a hater if you can't accept a known fact of BTS.

Even legends work their way up. You think Hobi woke up rapping? So dont say that we label every one blindly haters. Remember the “army” calling out Jin’s name as person who’d mess up the dance during the radio show Q&A in the US? Even the members found it distasteful. I can’t believe BTS exist. Everything about their artistry is amazing. Their dance moves, their lyrics, their producing skills, their acting, the storyline, the depth of literally everything they do. They appreciate cultures and if they want to include it in their art, they always credit it and respectfully showcase it. Not only that but their bond as a group is something unheard off. Literally every group disbands bc they don’t get along with each other so they decide to go in different directions. When it comes to BTS, they each have their flaws and areas they’re not proud of but they are always trying to improve, they each have something to help another member improve. They are a family, literally been living together since 2010/2012. They’re so kind too and philanthropist. They just balance each other so well. In my life, I can safely say BTS members are my favorite artist ever. When I think about spending money on them, I do it without hesitation. If I see an album at a store that I still need for my collection, I will get it without a second thought. I’m just so so damn proud of them. Cheers 🥂 for a successful 2020s with BTS!!!!!!!

I bet they're glad to be done with award shows for a little while cause they did Dionysus like 65 times and I know it seemed like Taehyung hurt his shoulder flipping over the table at MAMA. They also changed the choreo going into the second chorus too. They used to drop facedown on the floor during the comeback stage but now they just to one knee.

This song fits Hobi so perfectly with his overflowing energy! Oh wait, he actually wrote and composed the song 😎

@roar if you watch tae on the dionysus vids for this performancr you will see him touching his shoulders after doing the flip. tae said on vlive that it got better the same night and he was doing better... he might have just put more weight than his shoulders could handle when he did the flip.

What I loved about this practice is that because of the white background you can finally see every isolation, every single intricate piece of this routine. This was nothing short of perfection.

They actually changed the choreography a little bit after jimins part where they spun around because Jungkook hit his chin really hard on the floor in the original choreography

So, in the beginning, Rm, Jin, and Suga were not considered the "best" dancers when compared to Jimin, JK, and Hobi. The members always mention that Tae can pick up the dances quickly, but Rm, Jin, and Suga work really hard on their dancing. Suga during his solo concert performances of Seesaw he actually dances and you can see how much he's improved over the years. Also, my favorite part of the dance break down is when in the middle Suga is falling back at the same time they are switching out Jin and Rm for Jimin and Tae. That quick transition is done in unison and so seamlessly that I'm shocked every time!

I swear Jhope got rubber bands for bones!

I love how you all get so hyped for every member, that's how it should be. And there is no one in BTS that can't dance, that's just the dumb people saying that. If there was anyone who couldn't dance they wouldn't be in BTS. Yes, there are members that are better dancers, but there is no one who can't dance. Jin and RM get the most criticism because ppl keep saying they can't dance, but you have to understand how hard their dances are, and for anyone to be able to keep up with them, you need to be really good and able-bodied. Still have yet to see the people who say they can't dance do better than any one of them. I love your reactions btw, keep up the good work pls! 💜💜💜

when you recite the dance line and I was waiting for taehyung's name. and yes indeed you mention him. thats why I know why I am so hooked by your videos. and I always say these , same as your opinion. Yoongi may not be part of the dance line, Namjoon and Seokjin might called the wings. but that doesn't mean they cannot dance. THEY CAN DANCE MARVELOUSLY TOO! so too all of the haters that keep on dragging taehyung that he is not part of dance line. and calling out yoongi, namjoon, and seokjin like as if they cannot dance IN YOUR FACE. !

Yes! They’re all good at dancing. Some of them may not label themselves as a ‘dancer’ with same passion for dance as the other members, but all of BTS are hard workers and masters of their craft. They’re all so in sync and clean 👌

A lot of what is so plain to see here, was lost in the lighting effects of the show. I'm so happy for this version! 💜

8:50 okay so, nowadays they all can dance, but when they first started you could see the difference between Jimin-J-Hope and then the rest of BTS, even if JK was part of the dance line since the start, you could still see the difference. Nowadays all of them are amazing dancers, when it comes to choreography Jin, Yoongi, and Namjoon all do a fantastic job, specially because now they have the muscles to back up the moves (most of the time people who think they can't dance it's not bcs of coordination but the lack of muscle and not knowing how to use certain muscle groups).

They really are all talented dancers, they don't need to be dance students to show how good they actually are. Yes, some of them stand out more in different genres of dance but that's because that is the type of dancing that they were trained to do for years, like jimin with his contemporary dance. But at the end of the day, they all do their jobs and they do it astonishingly

It makes me so happy when people acknowledge the amazing talent of BTS. The more you dig, the more amazing it gets. It really never reaches a plateau.

I love how genuine you guys reactions are. It’s great to see you making reaction videos because you want to share Bts with others and not just because any video with Bts in the title gets loads of views.

All that impeccable dancing and they also can sing live doing that. Crazy. Nothing but respect for their relentless workmanship to perfect their performances.

Starting together, 7 guys, living together from the get go (Jungshook was only 15 when he was put in the group) and then ridiculously hard, steady, constant work and friendship, love and supporting each other in every way and learning from each other (from playing guitar & piano, to writing lyrics and tunes, to cooking and speaking English some) combined with excellent people in their wardrobe, styling, scenery, film departments, CGI, hair & makeup, choreography, vocal lessons and their assistants : those are the secrets to their being so damned good. Perhaps the 2 things that have contributed most though are: #1) BigHit was wise enough to give them some freedom to write & produce a lot of their own songs (which most KPop bands do not have and never do get) which allowed their songs to be current & meaningful to the worldwide youth and extend to have meaning to so many others (such as even myself at 59 years old.) and #2) R.M. seaking English which allows them to communicate in interviews here and other English seaking countries AND has allowed them to include phraseology and slang terms common to the English language and that all has made the difference which allowed them to stand out and rise above a very talented slew of Korean artists. and #3) their huge fan base called BTS ARMYS made sure word of this band spread in hundreds of ways. They found this band early on , loved them and recognized the special uniqueness of each of these guys and determined ARMYS was going to be the fanbase & real helpmates that would contribute to their recognition around the world. All this has gotten them to these heights. however.......the hard hard work they put into all they do and their caring, good hearts and relationships in the band that touches people even now that they're getting so crazily famous ...without these things they'd be just one more great KPop band probably.

eveyone in bts members are dance line... jin namjoon and yoongi have grown for years and you can literally see that they improved so much... so if any people(mostly some armys which is sad tbh) talk about how the three of them cant dance, im sorry you're not a true fan... a fan should appreciate each members individuality because they have their own unique styles when it comes to dancing

11:55 I love this part bc you have to look to notice JK and Jhope jump back and Jin and RM get up on the table and the switch between JK and Jin is so smooth I didn't even notice it at first I had to watch it back so many times and I watched the MMA performance Jin focus camera in order to fully catch how good it was. I really loved seeing that Jin focus camera version, he does so well in this one.

I can't with y'all and these openings!!! LOL, OMG, the best!!! When people ask me WHY BTS I show them live performances and dance practices. MV does not do them justice AT ALL!! *And can we give a shout out to the back up dancers, like for real! Dionysus live stage performance is a series of constant intricate movements. Almost like playing chess and the dancers have to be on point to make sure each piece is precise and the boys are safe, plus dance while doing it! Whew!

Not sure who choreographed the dance break part., but the original choreography of Dionysus is by an 18 yr old female named Sienna Lalau. Have you seen the dance practice of Dionysus (without the dance break)? I can’t remember if you guys did, but there’s one part that was changed in the current choreography. I’m talking about the part in the current choreography, where you see 5 members go down to their knees. In the original, they go down to like a push-up (you see it in the original dance practice). It was changed cause I believe 2 members got hurt by hitting their chins the last time they performed it that way. Haha sorry to write so much but thought I’d point it out 😁

I personally believe that people who says Jin and Joon can’t dance are solo stans and people from other fandoms! Every true army recognizes all their talent and hard work! And you can see the improvements in Jin and rm, not that they were bad, but they have gotten so much better!

At 5:42 they had to change the choreo due to members fears of injury. In the original choreo, they would land flat on their stomachs but Mr.Son changed it so they can land on their knees as a safer option

Big Hit is very good with utilizing back-up dancers. Proper back-up dancers will frame the main act rather than overwhelm it. If you watch their back-up dancers, outfits are often in contrast, movements do not eclipse the performers, and even the dancers tend to look down rather than make eye-contact with the audience. Some groups do not properly use their dancers, which is why some performers get "lost" among the back-up. Perhaps the outfits blend too much or the dancers make eye-contact. It seems small, but it makes a huge difference. Despite the dancers in this set being in large number and moving scenery, they never overwhelm the main act. They support them. There is a stage director who LOVES Big Hit's good use of their dancers.

I dunno why I was surprised to learn that Jin did the scream at the end. These guys are superior in so many ways.

Tysm for checking out BTS' lyrics too. Most reactors begin with BTS, are amazed, then get flooded by other groups' fans & realize that all idol boygroups dance well, which is normal bc lots of them were already dancers, & all trainees receive intensive dance lessons before debut. It thus becomes as if BTS weren't that special, but I swear that even despite some members being less naturally gifted in dancing than the extra talented dance line, when u consider EVERYTHING they're REALLY, honestly on another level (catchy melodies, quality AND self written lyrics, meaningful themes tackled, unique voice colors, a very personal & distinctive style & flow for each rapper, the fact of almost never lip syncing contrary to many groups, strong & goofy personality for EVERY member while in most groups only 2 or 3 members stand out, charisma+energy+creativity+scale of their performances during award & year-end shows, video content creation's quality, interactions with fans, ethics, integrity, humbleness etc). & u haven't attended a concert yet! So many stadium staff in the US & Europe praised the scale & quality of their shows & their showmanship

the choreographer for this was Sienna Lalau of The Lab. she's amazing and her style suits BTS perfecttlyyyyy. BTS killed it, just got to put some respect towards the choreographer too
