i have NEVER left a youtube comment in my life but i feel like i just want to remind you that clothes are meant to fit YOU, not the other way around. It is so common to have wide calves and these boots are definitely made for skinny legs for the oversized look. The problem here is Givenchy not being inclusive to anyone who isn't a size 4 or below. We love you Trish and we want you to be the happiest version of yourself!

No we actually don’t. $6000+ for those boots was silly. They aren’t even cute the purse isn’t either. Designer products I have owned a few. And although they have a good quality, so do a lot of more affordable brands. For $6000 how many peoples rent could have been paid like a grieving mother who hasn’t been able to work since her child died or somebody suffering from cancer who can’t pay their rent because of chemo therapy. The list goes on happiness is not found in paper bags. Happiness is found in helping others when you have the ability to.

Trish, I’ve known of you for a long time but I didn’t really watch many of your videos until Just Trish and I just wanted to say that you’ve helped me feel way more comfortable in my skin. I’m only a teenager, but I’ve always struggled with fully loving my body- you and your openness about your struggles helped me tremendously. I will forever be thankful for you because of that. You are perfect and so is your body. I know the feeling of being disappointed when something doesn’t fit, but you’re not supposed to fit into clothes, clothes are supposed to fit onto you. If that makes any sense haha. Also, my mom was always very open about how she felt being a plus size woman and you remind me of her in multiple ways. And I know that your daughter is going to appreciate that one day, you get to teach her how beautiful people are, no matter their size. 💗

I still struggle terribly from my ED and the amount of guilt that I experience for just eating necessary nutrients is terrible but this illness is relentless. Trisha! I work in a retail luxury boutique and the pay by link option takes so long for a refund because it’s basically ordering it online and the way that an online order is processed is different than how an in-store purchase is processed. So the store itself does not have, or did not take the money, but an online retailer who is allocated in a warehouse, took the money. So the store facilitates the return on your behalf, but it is a separate entity. I know it sucks, but that’s what’s happening. So don’t worry about the refund, it will definitely get processed, but unfortunately, there are a couple of extra steps.

I completely understand this. I’m curvy (not plus size officially but UK 16, US 12) but very short and curvy: really thick calves and bum etc; and my partner loves me as I am, but explaining to him that something doesn’t fit anymore or something in “my size” that officially should fit me doesn’t, always stresses me out and makes me ultra insecure. I think if you’ve never been “too big/too fat” it’s hard to understand how much shame you can feel and disappointment, even though of course you shouldn’t feel like that. I think being a millennial the whole 00s skinny culture really damaged our perception of ourselves.

Hi Trish, I can really appreciate where you’re coming from and am glad that you felt comfortable sharing your feelings with us. I want to let you know that I share a handful of the struggles you do. Ever since I was 14, I’ve been going to an eating disorder therapist. For the longest time I didn’t want to listen to do advice that was given to me. The older I got, however, I really started to apply what I had learned. I’ve really benefited from what I had learned, and I recommend going to an eating disorder therapist to anyone who has an ED. I really believe that if you went to an eating disorder therapist that it could help you with your struggles. Most therapists are not educated, thus aren’t able to properly treat individuals with EDs, similar to how most therapists aren’t equipped with the right tools to help people with BPD. If you’re wanting to loose weight on your own, I recommend not giving into the classic diet culture “tips” out there. Instead of focusing on calories, try balancing your macros (carbs, fats, proteins). This REALLY helps because a lot of times we don’t realize how many carbs are in something like a serving of chips. I know you may not see this comment, but if you do, I really hope you consider some of the things I’ve said. There’s nothing wrong with your body, but in order to help yourself and see lasting, positive results, you have to tend to other things first.

I’m triggered to the moment, (many moments) where I spent many times a dressing room crying my eyes out because I could not fit in something because my chest was too big. Every one around me telling me “You’re lucky to have a big chest” Yeah, lucky. Lucky to have a mother who understands how her daughter can only see her chest as a problem because it draws the wrong kind of energy, it makes her self conscious and sad. She will sit outside the door of every dressing room, comforting her awkward, mixed race daughter who doesn’t understand her body or her family who calls her fat all the time, she just wants to be normal and look like everyone else. I used to feel like this. I finally woke up one day and said “fuck this!” I dove head first into fitness nutrition and just overall my well-being in the spiritual and mental sense and have not looked back. Not saying this is you or anyone other than myself, but for me there was an emotional tie to food, a safety. I too had an eating disorder…I’d be anorexic in some seasons trying to fit into things or completely binge in other eras of depression. There was no in between because i never learned how to eat…what was healthy and what actually made me feel good. That’s all since changed. I lost 100lbs and I became a personal trainer, life coach, and nutrition coach. Trust me. You can do whatever the fuck it is you want to Trish. You are an incredible force on the planet. Stop shaming yourself because the boots didn’t fit. If you feel good about who are that’s all that matters. If you want to change something so you never have this issue again, just apply yourself to learning from someone who understands where you are at and where you want to go. set small achievable goals that will set you up towards your finish line. The hardest part is just starting. But once you get into a rhythm you will feel incredible (you already look incredible). Be nice to yourself and if you ever need help, I will gladly be a resource to you as you have been there for me when i needed someone. Let’s change those tears to happy ones. Sending you lots of 🫶

Girl I was just thinking how AMAZING you looked during the DONNY podcast!!! Like you were glowing and living your best life!!! I’m with you though, having an ED is really hard and stressful and people who haven’t experienced the constant “food noise” will never get it. I will say I started Mounjaro because we have been TTC for a year and I knew it would help if I lost some weight. I’ve lost almost 50 lbs now and have gotten off it and we are on our first cycle TTC again! If you want to try Ozempic or Mounjaro you should and focus on losing some weight for a few months. I bet you could lose 30-40 lbs in 6 months or less! But just know that YOU ARE GORGEOUS no matter how big or small you are. Just want you to feel good NMW because you are in such a great place right now. The effect of GLP1’s on appetite and food noise is astounding though. I remember thinking after my second injection “is this what normal people feel like?” No food noise. No constant hunger. No binge urges. It was awesome and the effects have lasted since getting off it about 3 months ago! I think it might have reset my hunger cues, etc. Sending you love and prayers for peace with your body!!!

You know who else has always complained about boots not fitting her wide calves? Britney Spears!!! So you are in good company. Don’t let these luxury brands make you feel anything less than beautiful! I think too often we forget that all we see are filters and angles. Yes there are skinny fit people but also, we need to realize that health comes first. Loving yourself, taking care of your body whatever that looks like and having your health is way more important. I’m proud of you for walking so much and making all this growth with your mental health. Look at all that you have been through recently! You are crushing life girl! Your body is decompressing from all the stress. Cut yourself a break and just keep doing what you are doing. Love you so much!

TRISHA please please please do not go onto Ozempic.. The horror stories are AWFUL and I do not want to watch you go through that and your family aswell.. If you are wanting to lose weight, I would recommend walking as much as possible! Start off small! If you have a smart watch, track those steps, try to beat records from the previous days and try to maintain an average amount of steps! Walking is one of the best exercises you can do and it will help you stay healthy with limited impact on your joints! I used to be a runner and now I can't run as much due to knee issues from my younger running days.. Walking is my go to and I try to get an average of 12k a day, my watch lets me know when I hit my goal and its a nice little celebration every time! With walking you can also spend quality time with your girl, push her in a stroller or one of those little pushable bikes! Remember that whatever you do decide to do, Moses and your family will always be there for you and all of your followers will be too! Take care!

It was only after they did not fit you wanted to use the money for that Using the money for the party should have been your first priority if that came to mind, in my opinion respectfully. However it's your money and you will spend it the way you see fit.

Trish, you are absolutely gorgeous. Weight loss is the most difficult thing after 30. Especially after kids. I know it's possible, it's just not a quick thing. I've struggled for years even with diet and exercise. My son is 8 years old and daughter is 2years old and I am still 40 lbs over my pre pregnancy weight 9 years ago. I learned that an overall change in lifestyle dietary changes makes such a difference in your mood and health. You might not see weightloss in days, it takes time and patience. I got a Fitbit and it has helped with accountability and tracking my movement. I don't log my food or count calories, I took out sugary drinks and snacks out and reduced carbs by half. I've lost 10-15 lbs up and down between those amounts, but have not gained extra in the past year. Keeping the weight off that you've lost is hard at first, but making the lifestyle changes in food a daily habit helped me. I also struggled with infertility and that is why my son is 8 years old and my daughter is 2, so I know how hard it is. Stay strong. Don't beat yourself over it. So many of us are in the same boat and we are all rooting for you the way you are there for us all with your encouragement in so many ways. Sending positive energy and baby dust ❤

It’s perfectly okay to have moments where you get upset, your feelings are valid and many women can relate. I think you’re absolutely gorgeous just as you are, but if you want to lose some weight, I think hiring a professional fitness coach would be really good for you! You’d have someone fun and motivating to interact with and they can guide you in how to achieve the results you want. 😊 I think it would be very encouraging and good for you to have someone like that in your team!

Designer brands profit and thrive off exclusivity, meaning they are made to make others feel unwelcome and not fitting in "their" community. They are purposely discriminating in sizing and price, and thats nothing to be scared or ashamed of. You wouldnt blame yourself if you couldnt afford the purse, so why feel bad about not fitting in it. You created a life in your daughter and your body has done a lot. It's beautiful and designer brands sizing is not a reflection of what is good or beautiful or right, they make money off being discriminating.

You aren’t alone Trisha. What I would do is go to a nutritionist and make sure that they set you up on a manageable plan and also do some testing to see what might be working against you as far as health conditions that make it harder to lose weight. I have insulin resistance which makes it very hard as well as PCOS so you may have something too that makes it harder for you. Work with other people similar to you to stay motivated and don’t give up or be so hard on yourself. You will get there ❤

One loving point to make. Isn't it interesting that when we are the biggest we are in our lives, we are also our happiness in our lives. You have a husband you have a daughter a beautiful home and family unit and happen to be bigger than you were in the past. Happiness is not measured by how big you are. Please truly and honestly know we love you the same regardless of your size. I think you know that deep down. I know this is a deeply ingrained trigger in your life. But I truly see you as one of the most stunning people I've ever seen on KZread. You are so beautiful and you will never be ugly because that is not possible for you. Big hugs from New York. ~Cody

Aw babe hugs. Just know you’ve got this. I commented before that you can eat more calories than you were allowing on restriction because of your bmr. I didn’t mention that it’s also because I would put my clients on a hiit + strength training regimen, which really revs your metabolism- not to mention improves mood so much! I’ve brought so many ppl through mega weight loss, some lost over 100 pounds, so we also focused on their mentality. We worked on re-training their minds to see themselves positively, which is a huge part of the puzzle!! Anyways, hope that helps a bit. Cheering you on 😘

Trishhh! I had a stressful return today too! And gotta wait 5 days for my money back! I ordered from sephora but stupidly had my old phone number saved on my account. It was supposed to arrive today! but the driver ig came and called my old number, and then just left with my package without leaving any package slip or anything. It was a specific online only item. that my mom wanted for her bday this weekend! I was crying so much when I realized! I canceled the order tho. And bussed to sephora to get a similar product. Thankfully i found a pretty good dupe. But i totally understand the stress of these things. I mean ik this isnt body image related . but i can only imagine how much worse having that stress going on, on top of this situation, would have been. And i feel your pain about waiting for the refund! I had to dig into my savings to buy the dupe product, cause i gotta wait for bank to process it😭 Sending u lovee! 💕💖 And refund vibess! 🤣

Having my daughter changed the way I talk to myself; it started with deciding I was never going to tell her that she was too small or too big for anything-it’s always the shirt or the pants or the chair or even the fridge that is the wrong size for her. And one time she corrected me when I said I was too big for a pair of pants, and without ever knowing it, she changed how I felt about sizing. It’s never my fault, if I can pick a different size, I will, but if not, the design is not for me. And that’s not on me.

I’m a plus size girlie with wide calves too, Trish. The wide calf boots at Torrid won’t even fit my calves and I had to realize that it’s not because I’m plus size - it’s because I was a soccer player for 14 years and they’re MUSCULAR. Sure, there’s some fat on them but even if I lost all the weight in the world I will forever have super wide calves. I have never been able to wear boots, I feel you but babe - don’t beat yourself up over it. Your body is perfect. You birthed a whole human. We’ve known designers cater to smaller people. Manifest that this video will help designers realize they are missing an entire demographic of people and they could have even MORE business.

I am not particularly curvy and I'm of average weight, I've sometimes been underweight, but my calves have a separate identity :]. So I relate. Body sizes are something curious and just can't be in "small, medium, large." I have this with my torso too. I have always had a tiny waist and a really looking torso loool so every top looks short and I can't fit into any boots unless tailored for my calves. I'm older now and disabled, but before that these weird physical measurements also meant that I could run cross country without training, that I could wear any waist hugging clothing and be the centre of attention. So there are always pros and cons. I'm sad you couldn't fit into those boots and hope you figure out a way to tailor them to fit maybe. But it's also just one of those things because we all have so many beautiful different sizes of our many parts lol.

(We were supposed to have a size 10 fit model but they pushed back to a size 4, which is sooo unrealistic imo.) It is the job of ALL designers to be inclusive.
