Nah ywhach is the soul kings son biologically... If you can recall when Ichigo was in training and started seeing the soul kings memories you should remember the multiple pupils that appeared in Ichigo's eyes and ywhach has the same and that distinct trait of is something only the soul king has

And to clarify in that meeting ywhach absorbed the soul kings hand on Ichibei but in return had his eyes which is his Schrift "A" sealed by Ichibei that's what he meant when he said that "you didn't think I'd give u the soul kings arm for free did u" It's also why ywhach wasn't able to use his schrift "A" in his fight against Yamamoto 1000 years ago as It had been sealed by Ichibei earlier

Yeah Yhwach mustache is continuing to get bigger through out the arc lol. Also the first scene with Ichibe is brand new to the anime and gives a lot of context especially about Yhwach and his motives.

Oh god! Kubo is cooking with this additional scenes. Yhwach and Ichibei negotiation scene wasn't even in the manga. It's great because it showcase Yhwach motivation and more build up for his fight with Ichibei. Oetsu the goat aka "The Number One Zanpakuto Creator" is finally here.

There are a lot of people asking so let me clarify: Askin was not a royal guard, he was CHOOSEN to be a royal guard, he was a regular sternitter until yhwach decided to go to Squad Zero and take his strongest people with him. We have seen gerard, Lillie and pernida before too, on the stage with yhwach in ep 14 of cour 2. Askin mentioning u can join the royal guard was in the ichigo vs bambies episode when he says 'will i be among the choosen'

Yeah Yuha is the literal biological son of the Soul King.

I am pumped for Ichibei vs Yhwach next week, this fight will be godly.

The reason Pernida rolled Senjumaru's presumed corpse away was to make space for Yhwach to walk through. In the manga Gerard tells Lille that "he made a mess and shouldn't leave a corpse obstructing his majesty's path" to which Lille asks Pernida to "give him a hand".

I still can't get over how good Yhwach's voice is. It's so intimidating xD And Nimaiya is by far the coolest member of Squad 0. He was so badass this episode xD And yes you are right. Lille Barro had the same VA as our boi Rengoku

there might be a chance that the anime depicts it differently than what kubo did in the manga though. like they skipped tenjiro's appearance against ywhach and allowed him to escape the cage. kubo fumbled squad zero in the manga, maybe they change it and have nimaiya and tenjiro fight JH and uyru instead, lose and then revive the royal guard. at the very least if they do stick with the manga, id like to see some actual fight scenes rather than see them get off panelled/screened like in the manga

Yeah i think so. I think the soul king was just a normal guy like ichigo and his name and history was erased by ichibei. He wanted to do the same with ichigo. I think if ichibei made ichigo the soul king and change it to soul king then ichigo would've never existed.

The flashback at the beginning reveals so much, it's crazy. So, all 3 worlds were once one and life and death didn't exist. According to Ichibei, the Soul King created the current system of life and death. Yhwach can at all times hear the agony of the souls that exist in this awful system. The world the Soul King created is one where people constantly fear death and cling to life desperately. And in neither of the 3 Bleach dimensions is life fulfilling. Yhwach wanting to reset that world is actually somewhat of a noble goal. Also the fact that the Soul King is his father explains why Yhwach has such insane power.

Not only that, but Yhwach himself too has to live in constant fear of becoming a physically disabled vegetable if he doesn't keep sharing power and absorbing souls now and then. This flashback was a good addition since in the source material his motive and actual end goal didn't come up this early.

"noble goal", existence was gonna cease to exist. All Ywach wants to do is bring back the world to it's unstable primordial state where hollows ran rampant eating everyone and with no cycle of souls they ceased to exist. All because he's scared of dying.

Fun fact :- Ichiebei was the one who erased the name when old man zangetsu(manifestation of yahawch) was about to tell his name to ichigo when he first met him, so he told his name zangetsu to ichigo nice foreshadowing

Pay a lot of attention of every single phrases between ichibei and Yhwach because it is all linked and foreshadowed, Bleach is a masterpiece, Yhwach planned everything.

Well Michael its been a funny meme/joke/theory for a long time in the Bleach communty that Yhwachs Mustache grows throughout the series and he is getting stronger the longer it gets 😂😂. We believe thats the source of his powers lol.

The entire opening flashback is just incredible man, I'm so glad for these anime original scenes. Cour 2's finale next week is gonna be absolutely insane And yeah Yhwach's mustache has grown, it happened in the manga too. It was much shorter during Cour 1, my headcanon for it growing is that its an indicator of him slowly regaining his power

saw the youtube notification and immediately knew it my was my boy with the bleach reaction 🔥

His real name was first introduced as Ichibei, and has always been Ichibei. Manako Osho was merely a title bestowed on Ichibei meaning Monk who Calls the Real Name. One of the episodes previously gave that subbed translation from Shunsui's monologue.. From here on out, it's best to regard each fight as a battle among gods, and each backstory filler as an addition to the source material, because even amongst manga folks, a lot were left unexplained back then that many are happy to see adapted in the anime.

Kubo pit a 5mins scene and my entire recommend is only that part That sensei is a G. O. A. T😂😂

This is one of the most badass episodes in anime I have ever watched! I read the manga long time ago, and at this point I don´t quite remember what happens and I´m glad I don´t. This feels fresh and caught be off guard. I loved it!

Yhwach's mustache is a case of Kubo making it fluffier with each chapter. If you go read the manga, it starts out much thinner like Zangetsu's but by the time it got to this battle it was much puffier.

First time viewer of the channel. Had to sub instantly from your Nimaiya hype. His zan is so perfect he deems it flawed...........whhhhaaaat!!!!

It is widely accepted as fact that Yhwach's power is in his moustache, the bigger it gets, the stronger he is. I can't praise the opening 4 minutes enough. There is the more obvious things from it, that the anime onlies see, but there are like three other layers of revelations that are hidden in there. It's an amazing anime only scene. Also, if you remember Ichigo also had multiple pupils when the Soul King's power was entering him during training.

The double tongue guy's schrift "W" is pronounced as "wa-ind" like a winding spring, that's how he twisted all enemy's attacks. Askin was not a part of Royal Guard, his potential was recognized by Yhwach and then got promoted, that's why if you see previous episodes, all other sternritters were scared and desperate to kill Kenpachi or Ichigo (special threats) just so they get recognized and get taken above with his majesty. It's still vague whether Yhwach is a biological son of Soul King, or just a spawn from a fragment of his power, but no he didn't call him father just because he created the 3 worlds, there's a deeper meaning that we might find out in future ;). Anyway, a lot of stuff in this episode is new to manga readers as well, they did a very good job fixing a plot hole. Very excited for the next 1 hour special.

Yhwach did not teleport out of the womb by himself. That was Uryu's schrift at work.

So hyped, all the fights that were censored are unfolding... wow, Great job Tite Kubo.

The first sence was a anime only scene giving a answer to a question regarding yawach bleach or his eyes to precise keep in mind his eyes are quite 'special'. And the fact that we see Ichibe talking about the soul king and his will is quite infuriating.

It was so good! It adapted the fight beautifully and it was even better than in the manga. The stuff they added looked great and made sense. The initial scene featuring Ichibe and Yhwach was not present in the manga, nor was the content of the discussion. So the context of Yhwach's motives is entirely missing too. Squad Zero looked stronger here than they did in the manga in my opinion.
